Dear SD Helpdesk I am trying to create a trend report in MySQL. However my SQL skills are nil. What I am trying to generate is a report which shows Tickets created today, still open, still overdue, resolved today, closed today. Couple of questions Reports 1) I want to provide to my management a combination report. When Opmanager reflects high utilization for a site I would like to trigger a Netflow report showing top talkers both source and destination as well as protocol being used. Can this be done? 2) There are some sites that are always going to be on the top talker list..i.e. (the hub in a hub and spoke network or Internet connection) is there a way not to include them in the top talker list but still collect the data

Email alert to manager for unpicked tickets
Is there a way to send an email alert to a groups (Network for example) manager if a ticket hasn't been picked up in a certain time period and if so, can we set different times for different levels of tickets. So let's say two hours go by on a normal ticket and no one in networking has picked it up an email alert is triggered and sent to the manager of the group only. New Field - Location
I've looked thru the forums so I just want to confirm... I've created an additional Requester Field (kilometres Travelled) - So we can log how many klm's we travel during a callout... but it does not show up on the Request screen... If I save the request and then go into the New Change BUtton it is available but this is rather cumbersome..... Am I missing something... any assistance would be greatly appreciated

Problems with SDp on same server
Hi, We have some problems. We are running SDP 7506, we recently installed opmanager 8006 on the same server. We were unable to get opmanager to work, after troubleshooting we changed the ports and now it is working. When we have both op manager and SDP open in ie7 in seperate tabs op manager; *every time we click on a link in op manager ie. to look at a business view we need to log back in *when clicking on the dashboard link it shows nothing If we close the SDP tab op manager works correctly again
Asset Group Dynamic critera is not saving
I am creating a new Dynamic Group to search for assets that are not assigned to a site yet. Criteria: Site Conditions: Is not Choosing all 4 of my sites When I Save & View Group, I see all of my workstations and other assets listed. If I refresh the group screen, the Condition has changed from "is not" to "is". The "is not" condition is not saving properly to the group criteria.

Second, I use "DisplayNames" for some monitor I have which uses instances, In a previous post Here for a reminder I mentionned that and that it worked very well, however, the new dashboard widget (Last N hours Value for a Performance Monitor) doesn't uses these names, but the instance number. Business views and maps need overhaul!
Hoping others will add to this, as some posts were added to the snap shot page sticky and was off topic. I think the maps and business views are in need of a major overhaul! Besides the ability to edit in the web view instead of on the server itself, there hasnt been any changes to the maps since it was implemented. Im my opinion (and my coworkers) the edit view looks better than the map itself. the opmanager team added google maps, which some of you obviously like, but since I am in charge of watching

Hi Is it possible to configure more than 1 template for a given sysOID? This would be helpful because I have Win 2k3 server machines with different purposes and I would like to create a template with different monitors and thresholds for each of the different uses. Example; one server is used for process control and I want to monitor disks and cpu usage agressively. On a second server, I have a SQL database that needs different monitoring. On a third, I have a less critical system with less monitoring.

I have downloaded ServiceDeskPlus 5 for evaluation. It seems an excellent one which can make save great time for us. But unfortunately I was disappointed the way it works (or it does not). Server with Turkish locale won't start / won't backup
Hello, I am testing the SD+ v6. The server does not start with locale TR(Turkish) as in SD+ v5.5 :( The issue was raised up before in forums where the suggestion was running the server via "C:\AdventNet\ME\ServiceDesk\bin\run.bat" But now I realize that I can not make backups "C:\AdventNet\ME\ServiceDesk\bin\backupData.bat". Interface History
I'm only checking out the demo version of OpManager 8, but I have a quesion about History - in this case Interface history. Is there a way of storing more detailed history? If I pull up a WAN interface that I'm monitoring, I see traffic for today. I can click on the little magnifying glass to pull up specific info and change the report options. Detailed history is good for today and yesterday, but if I put in a date/time range for 3 plus days ago for only a 6 hour period, it shows an averaged hourly
horrible trap receiver performance
Hi, We are experiencing horrible performance of the trap receiver in OpManager. After only a few days of operation the time from a trap is sent from a device until it is displayed in OpManager is several hours. This behavior has been observed both using 7102 and 8005. Cisco IOS image TFTP via Device Expert
I am trying to deploy a new IOS image to several Device Groups with each Device Group containing ~ 20 routers. The problem I am having is that the transfer either times out or just seems to stop. Transfers work fine one device at a time. I have increased the timeout value now to 9900 seconds and increased the number of parallel jobs to 75. All of the routers are across an MPLS network mostly with 384K links. has anyone come across this problem or have a solution?
