Site & user Assignment / History issue

Found some bugs here in Service desk 7506. Two issues:
1. When trying to assign a site to a computer that is already in service desk and assigned to a user, it never "sticks". The audit history shows the device getting reassigned to the user but no site. I did some digging around and the entries are getting created in the "resourcelocation" table, however the data is null. Manually entering the site ID's etc in these tables, fixes the issue. If I manually add a new work station through the web interface and put the site in, then save it, it works.
2. When editing any part of any workstation assigned to a user, after applying, the audit history will the device being assigned to the user again. For example: Workstation A is assigned to Joe. I rename it to workstation B and hit apply. The audit history will show at the same time "assigned to joe."
