We do not have the option to handle 'consumables' now in SD+, and also if you define custom fields for assets, these will be shared amongst all the products. We have something like 'Processor Speed' for the asset type called: 'Monitor' which turns out to be very awkward

 

When will it be possible to have asset templates, so I can have custom fields associated to certain asset type only?

 

Is that planned for 8.0?
