OPmanager, Alerting sending SMS to ISDN Modem on USB
I have a AVM FritzCard ISDN Modem, connected to USB on the Server. I want to send SMS Alerts to this AVM-ISDN-Modem. The Modem uses Dial-Up to our SMS Provider. The USB uses no COM Port - it's a USB Port. The way to send Mail to generate a SMS uses the Internet. Internet is not the best way to send Alerts ... And i don't want to connect a GSM Phone to the Server, because is in the basement of the building with no GSM Signal there. Is there a way to config this ?

Alarms are not clearing on their own
I have two devices that have alarms stating they are down but I have tested both within opmanager using the Ping tool and they both are active but the alarms will not clear by itself. Thanks, Joe

Hello, I've just successfully installed the AdSelf Service application, but there is a problem with our firewall. I have to make the service accessible from outside our intranet (for field service), but I can't open any other port than TCP 80 due to security regulations in our company. It is possible to disable the ping in AppManager? I have several networks in my company and must of the connectivity from AppManager server to others server are available via firewall. New Computer, need to import old data settings
I had to do a fresh install of Windows on my server PC here at work. I have tried installing Firewall Analyzer and get it running, until I try to copy over the old database. The first method I tried was do just copy the actual db over from the old directory. I did copy it in the proper place in the new installation. Need Help in generating report
Good day... We are using Manageengine desktop central for a period of time. we found some thing in the reports which is not we were expecting. The report should give the number of domain controllors in my network. consider the below example. we have 3 domain controllors and 200 work stations installed windows 2000 professional and windows xp. when i generate report for the number of domain controllors its giving me nearly 50 systems ( 3 domain controllors & 47 Windows 2000 Professionals).

Site Assignment Issues
HI everyone, We just upgraded service desk to 7.5, so far so good! The remote control feature is working great as well! However, I have run into one small snag. When a PC is assigned to say, a department, you can't make the Site assignment "stick." For example, we have servers we've allocated to the "IT Department". Any chance you'll add some control over Opmanager via email? I'd like the option to suppress alarms by replying to an Opmanager email alert. Either that or the ability to access Opmanager via my Blackberry.

I am not sure why OpManager has been developed to support only a small number of modems/mobile devices. I have a Blackberry that I am trying to connect via USB. The com port has been registered in Windows, but OpManager is telling me that it is not connected properly.

In my IT Consulting business, I bill different rates to different customers and also support reps have a different cost per hour depending on type of client. I can set the billing rate for the Support Rep, but when I do a Time Entry the rate is "Greyed Out" so I cannot change it for a single time entry.

Hi, My sysEvtCol keeps crashing and then I stop gathering data. It's really frustrating. I have audit requirements and this forces me to go an audit all my PC's. I wish there was a a way to have it catch up if a machine is off and then turned on. I have about 80 machines half windows and half linux. Does anyone else have this issue?
