Sending request between Support Centres

G'day,
We run Support Centre (latest version) and have recommended to a client they purchase Support Desk.
However now when they send us requests, the requests automatically get attached to old requests (with the same number) in our Support Centre.
How do we stop this from happening?
While we can hack our mail system to manipulate the Subjects, it will cause problems when we want to reply to requests back into their Support desk.....
