Can OpManager to "auto-layout" of all devices?
I am evaluating OpManager and I really like the product for many reasons. I just find it extremely cumbersome to draw all the maps myself. The network that I need to manage is relatively small WAN and large campus LAN. The LAN component with 100+ servers takes forever to "map" ... Am I missing something? Report folder deletion
Hi, I was wondering if it is possible to delete the folders that I have stored my custome reports in. It seems I can create as many as I want but I can't seem to figure out how to delete them. Also A little off topic but when you generate a report there is an "ACME" image next to the report, I was wondering if it is possible to change this image to one of my own? Is there a way to move a server back to the workstation asset group?
modify host name and ports used for PMP service.
Is it possible to modify the Hostname and Port for this service? This application will be used on a Windows 2008 R2 server along with other services and I need to provide access on a specific host name and possibly a different port, even to specify port 80 and 443. I plan on disabling the default IIS website and creating separate IIS websites for specific hostnames. This will not function correctly unless I can specify host name along with the ports.

I'd like a report that let me see the last x number of event log entries for all (or selected) servers. Is that available right now?
change requester
I would like that some users (i.e. admin) have the right to change the requester. This is very useful in this scenario: in our org. IT dept costs are split between other departments, internally, by the time spent on each task If an user from let's say "Facilities" is emailing us with a request of a user from "Marketing", which actually benefits of the request, "administrator" should be able to change the requester, otherwise "Facilities" will be charged instead of "Marketing". Backup Opmanager Settings
I want to migrate Opmanager to a new server. I want to backup the settings from the old server, but not all the data. I've used the DB backup utility in Opmanager, but i dont need everything. Is there a way to backup only settings and reload on a new server?
Notification Rules help
Hi Does the Junk Notification Filter only allow 2 rules? I had 2 rules in there, and tried to add a 3rd and when I did it deleted one of the ones that was there. Is this normal? Cheers Hunt

Hello, I am trying to set group emails to auto assign requests to different groups. I have email address suppor@hd.com with it@hd.com and BS@hd.com set as aliases. The group emails have been allocated on the admin>groups page. However emails sent to it@hd.com and BS@hd.com do not get assigned to there respective groups. Change port that traps are received on in OpManager 8
I recently had a problem with OpManager and in the end, had to shut it down, repair the DB, start and start it back up. When it started back up, it worked fine except I got this error: Port 162 needed for receiving traps has beed occupied. Please free the port. We only have a trial of opmanager right now, so the other program we are using for network monitoring is currently using port 162, but it can forward the traps to another port. Asset scan at logon via script
Hey there; Surely someone's asked about this before. Sorry for the repeat if that's so. I'm having trouble finding the documentation for setting up asset scans when the user logs in to the domain. Asset scans based on a schedule are great, but I'd also like to be able to do so in a windows login script so that computers not powered on during the scheduled scan are counted. Can someone please point me to the right documentation to do this? --James
No Data Gathered in Availability Report
Hi, Would like to refer a problem we've just encountered in OpManager. Last July 3, 2010 we we're still able to received Availabilty Report for selected devices. But on July 4 and July 5, the report were no longer able to gather availability of these devices. The report was sent with no data in it. Your assistance is very much needed. Thanks in advance.

Refresh interval time on widget
I want to set refresh interval time on all widget now only real time widget can set it I know Opmanager have a CCTV feature but when CCTV change dashboard widget will refresh but the real time widget will clear previous data and start plot graph again. If you can make it the Opmanager dashboard will be perfect dashboard.
Removing a counter from multiple devices
I've never had to do this before, and am slightly nervous to experiment based on the number of devices in our system. We have a counter that stopped working on all of our monitored servers. I've found that removing the counter and then re-adding what appears to be the same thing makes it function correctly. Is there a way to ignore interface types? I have several VLANs that are being matched as an Ethernet interface at 1gbps so the thresholds alert. I'd like to ignore the VLAN interfaces and just gather data on physical interfaces. For thresholding as well.

OpManager 8.7 - Widgets
Hi, In this new version, the widget "Last Polled Bandwidth Utilization Value" show now in the top menu a new line: "Last polled Bandwith utilization value for (interface_name)". License Additional Fields - multi-line field not working
