I have some problems with monitoring the VMWare ESXi servers. I did the following things: VMWare Esxi - Enabled SSH - Enabled SNMP + String + Agent started OPManager - Imported the ESXi machine. - Tested SNMP credentials (working ok!) - Tested Login credentials SSH (not working!) - Tested some SNMP monitoring (example: CPU Utilization, not working!) So finally the SMNP string communication is working but that's it .... I don't see the virtuals etc. Can someone help me with this. I've checked the

How to ignore offline guest on VMWare

OpManager-8 VoIP Monitor help needed
We have OpManager8 build 8052 and I have some questions regarding VoIP Monitor. I setup some monitors (one through an MPLS network and another via IPSEC tunnel) that work fine but when I configure additional monitors configured the same way for additional MPLS and IPSEC tunnel sits they do not collect data. Whe I click on the "Troubleshoot" link I do see that the SNMP creds and source router are green and successful.

Hello, I want to remove a group from the list of available groups for a specific site but I don't want to delete it, since I will lose all my history for that particular group. If I delete the group the message "Can't delete because the groups is in use by another module" (or something like that) and I really don't want to go ticket by ticket change it to the new group. I successfully imported them, however they are added as global support reps rather than support reps only for the business unit. NetFlow Counting Twice the Bandwidth
We are trying to calculate how much bandwidth a particular IP is sending out of our network. We are testing this by downloading a 128MB file off the network. NetFlow Analyzer is however reporting 2+x as much traffic as the actual file being transferred. Is there any reason this could be happening, and if so is there anyway to prevent this? NOTE: I'm currently using the trial license.

Create ticket via email without sending notification
Hi, We receive automated error reports from our production servers. These servers can not receive emails. So every time the server sends an error report, SCP tries to send a ticket notification. But because the server can not receive emails our exchange server returns a “failure notice” which creates a new ticket. Now I would like to know if it possible to create a rule to stop sending notifications to certain email addresses but still create a ticket? Regards, Allistair

Add comments to state change
I would find it very usefull if I could add comments to the state change. E.g. if asset state is changed to "in repair" it would be great to have a comment field where I can add for instance the RMA number or other details. That way I wouldn't have to search through the tickets to find that information. Hi All I really hope somebody can help me. We use ITSD Plus and have 30 active technicians across a variety of groups. I.e. 1st Line, Server Support, facilities etc I have a group that manages development requests fand need to restrict access to that group to only management. I love the Approval function in 7.6. What it is lacking is the ability for the user to respond by replying to the email. Would it be possible to do this by using the parsing function so that one can set the request to approved? Thanks.
Using HTTPS logins
Am I missing the obvious here? I don't see any discussion on enabling HTTPS logins for OpManager, yet I can't seem to figure out how to do it. Under SDP I'd use the changewebport tool and do port_number https, but this doesn't seem to work with OpManager. The sad thing is I've done it before and forgotten what I did. Quick pointer anyone?

Using Netscreen with Firewall Analyzer - Can only see traffic from the trust interface
Hi There, We have recently downloaded the trial package of FA and have configured it to log and analyse traffic from our Juniper Firewall. This is all working fine, except the traffic analysis only appears to be processing traffic from the trust network. We were looking to FA to provide analysis of external attack etc. The raw sys logs contain traffic for all zones, but the traffic logs only appear to contain information on the trust network. WebTrend format with Fortigate
Hi, I try to test "Firewall Analyzer 4" but I have some difficulties : My firewall is a Fortigate-60 and I did setup the logging option at WebTrend... (I tried Syslog on port 514 but "Firewall Analyzer 4" didn't recongnize the data.) The problem is "Firewall Analyzer 4" don't receive any log. On my Fortigate, I can't setup the port for WebTrend (just an IP adress... where to send the log) and I don't know if I have to configure a new Syslog server in "Firewall Analyzer 4". Hi, In Netflow Analyzer 7.5, you choose an index, click Traffic and then Utilization and the report shows Link Speed measured at 1.0Mbps. This isn't an accurate relection of our 40Mbps line. How do we change this to anything other than 1.0Mbps? CHeers

Additional Column on Requests Page for Resolved Date
Hi Would it be possible to add an additional column into the selection list for the 'Requests Page' for Resolved Date. As when the work is completed for a request we change the status to resolved, it would be useful to refer to this in the main view rather than having to run a report or go into the request history each time to find it out. Problem deploying msi or exe
I keep getting the same error: Could not copy the installables to the client computers : The system cannot find the path specified. I'm not sure what this means which path can't be found ? The share which has the msi or the destination? I added a package and the msi is on a file share. I can install patches just fine but software deployment fails with this error every time.
