I have a specific need for PMP wherein a user just needs to view passwords and reset them etc. This user will never need auto logon or anything other than a password list. Asset scan airwalled
Hi, I have Service Desk Plus installed on a production server which is airwalled so it can't see UAT versions of the servers, this is obviously causing an issue with Asset scanning, scans fail. Is there any way to get round this, can I just have the asset scan performed from a server which isn't airwalled which then pushes the information to the production server that has the Service Desk installation? We have several gateways on our network but only 1 is set to go through our iPrism web filter. Some employees have learned how to bypass the filter by changing their gateway. Is there a way to make a group policy through Desktop Central in which makes it mandetory to use the set default gateway?
Column addition
In Desktop Central under Patch Management-Automate Patch Deployment I have a Scheduled patch task to update ForeFront Clients. Once it's finished we can see desktops that have not been updated. My question is can there be another column created for last login under download status. We would like to visually inspect the non updated desktops without having to click on them to find out who they belong to.

Adding NETAPP FAS 3020, and Cisco switch 4507, i have noticed that there is a big difference between the traffic reported on the port of the cisco switch versus the traffic reported on the netapp. Attached the comparison: I have added the port-channel and the port members traffic from the switch on the first page and the VIF and port members from netapp on the second page. 64bit traffic counters are not working
Hi, I have an issue to monitor traffic on Windows server (2003/2008) and our NetApp storage. 32bit traffic counters are working, but all interfaces are 1Gb and counters can be overwritten. I.e. I need 64bit counters. I tryed to switch 32bit/64bit and vice versa, but it doesn't help. 64bit trafic counters are NA. Can you please help me to resolve this issue ? Thanks.

Manual Installation of Assets
Hi, We need to scan our Assets through SDP, so we are going to use Manual Installation. The following files was downloaded from our SDP: 1* ManageEngineAssetExplorerAgent.msi 2* scan_setup.vbs 3* ae_scan.vbs And then we are install these files in the remote workstation, also please note that we open the 2nd and 3rd files with command prompt. How to edit device snapshot
Hi, We see that on many of our servers the Snapshot on the servers shows CPU Utilization information that is wrong. Basicly it shows 100% CPU Utilization. But when i click on the real time under CPU Utilization it show 3-5%. From what i have seen snmp can be tuned to check every 5 mins, but wmi is set to an interval at 45 mins which you cant change even if you do change it in the edit. This seems to be for both CPU and memory. I have set the monitor period interval to 5 mins, but the snapshot

Changing web server port to 80 stops fetching mail anymore.
Hi, SDP linux version was running on port 8080 initially. I could successfully configure mail fetching then and it was creating requests automatically from the mails received on the email configured. Now, when I changed web server port to 80, it stopped fetching emails completely. I think I tried all permutations in Admin page. OpManager 9 - critical error for admin down interfaces
We just upgraded to OpManager 9 and we're seeing that interfaces in an Admin down state are being reported as critical. These interfaces were reported differently in the older version of OpManager we were using. Is this something that is customizable in version 9? How do I configure OpManager 9 so that admin down interfaces are reported as a different status than an interface that is up/down?
template not setting the threshold for "Partition Details of the Device(%)" wmi monitor
This is a major show stopper. Start with a with a windows 2003 device with a Partition Details of the Device(%) monitor and no threshold. Go into device template and set the partition threshold to 85%. "Apply & Overwrite" the 2003 template to the original windows 2003 machine. The threshold setting for partition details of the device will not get set.
