Widget Error
Hi, I'm using OpManager 8, build 8720. The dashboards don't work since upgrading to this version. I get an error: "Error occurred while generating widget." I tried uninstalling OpManager, reinstalling and restoring the data from backup but that didn't help. The Server is Windows 2003 Std. SP2. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Tom
Issues with remote asset explorer server
Please I have deployed Remote Asset Explorer and currently facing some problems 1. Asset Tag was manually inputed for all workstations but when you export to the central AE it does not reflect eventhough its showing in the Remote Server 2. Unable to assign department and change the state of an asset in Remote Server eventhough I have logged in as administrator
Agent installed but showing as not installed
We do a discovery scan daily at noon and sometimes after the daily scan has performed it shows 640 computers with no agent. And if I do a manual scan of these 640 computers that number drops down to 60. Is there a reason why sometimes the discovery scan would not be able to detect the agent but the manual scan done immediately after would? This is more of an annoyance than a serious issue but it is still annoying.
Report on templates used
Is there a report I could run to see the count on the number of templates being used over the past month? I am trying to remove some old templates, but want to make sure they are not being used.
ManageEngine MSP Account dropdown lists
I have some of my users complaining that when they pull down the Accounts dropdown list that it stays the same size and does not open up so they can see the entire account name. I can reproduce it on XP w/ IE6&7 but NOT in Firefox and Safari. Can someone shed some light on how I can remediate this issue (other than telling them hot to use IE :))? Thanks \ejk
Feature Request - Make asset remote control available on New Incident page
We just upgraded to 8112--I love being able to use DameWare MRC with SDP now. We originally migrated to DamWare because this feature wasn't currently available in the current version of SDP at the time, and it still isn't today. When creating a new incident, you select the asset associated with the user. However, before you can get the link to initiate remote control with the asset, you have to save the ticket first. I don't want to create a ticket, enter some very basic information about the incident,
8112 - Unable to enable "Pass-Thought" Authentication
Hi all, I've read so much about this yet I still can't get it to work! I have set my domain name, DNS server, Bind Sting, DNS site and manually created a Computer account called sdpntlm however when I enter the password which is password and hit save, I'm getting the attached errors. I have tried running the scripts provided however they don't seem to be working. Can anyone help? Thanks, Chris.
Technician log in screen
Normally when you use the tab key to leave the username window and enter the password window, the old password would highlight so you could enter a new password without deleting the old one. It is a common convention in other apps.
LDS vs. AD
Our parent company dictates our AD structure, and it's really pretty bad. We've implemented LDS to get around this for most of our projects. Is there a way to use LDS instead of AD for ELM? It would literally take us months to get permission to get new OUs created for admins and operators.

I have installed the Free VmWare Monitoring Appliance on my home netwerk with less than 25 devices. Now everything is working fine but at the top of web portal it reads OpManager license will expire in x days and is counting down. What do I need to do in order to keep my free version running? Is there any licencing I have to do?
what use is reminders?
Hi there, I'm currently trialling ServiceDesk Plus and have a question about reminders. I've seen the manual to manage it (create/edit/delete/etc) but still wondering how it actually supposed to be used. My understanding was that when we set up a reminder, put in the date and time, there should be some kind of notification on the specified time without us actually going to the Quick Actions > My Reminder(s). But so far, nothing. No pop up box or anything. I even tried to log out and log in again

Events Not captured
I'm evaluating the EventLog product. While I can see that what it does report on, I like very much. However, I'm concerned that it does not seem to capture (or at least report) certain types of events from my "SYSTEM" logs on any of my servers Specifically speaking, the product correctly reports that I have DnsApi errors in my SYSTEM log, but it does not report on the multiple occurences of Netlogon, Mrxsub and print errors within the same portion of that log on that same server. cannot see Domain Controller in the list
Dear all There is a problem that I have. I have 2 DC which i Scanned them In Dashboard-->Overviews it shows me that there are 2 Domain Controllers but while I click on it ,it goes on a page which gives me this message " No Infra Structure View found with this name." and there is no other settings to configure. I can see them from other parts like while there is an alarm about them it directly takes me to the Snapshot-->device details page but there is no direct way like other devices to see the details.
Home Tab -> Device Status = "Problem Conecting to Server"
My system: ELA build 7022 sp 7.3 evaluation copy expire on 10 days SO CentOS 6.2 2 GB RAM 20 GB HDD I can see the log packets on syslog viewer this is OK, but the device status on home tab is Problem Conecting to Server. Another problem is Server Status - Failed on the icon show listen port details. Some question in order understand better: 1. Eventlog analyzer start any sesion with the remote hosts? Whitch ports? 2. I cant see the process SysEvtCol running. It must be running? How i can find out?
Problem after update to 7.2.0
Hi, After upgrading ELA to latest update(7.01 to 7.2.0) from time to time(once for a week) ELA stops collecting logs, all hosts have “connection problem” status. I've got email notification ("ManageEngine EventLog Analyzer Server eventlog ... is down from...") after restarting ELA services everything goes back to normal. Regards,

Search issue: Can not share or check password history in search results
The search results page seems to use a different template then that of the normal resources view. I'm having a problem wherein I am trying to search through thousands of passwords and share them to users or check the password history. I'm not sure if my implementation is having an issue showing the icons to those tools or if by design these tools aren't accessible with search results. Can I get a confirmation as to whether this is the implementation or design that causes the tools to be absent?

PMP and other ME products integration
Let's say there is a system which is managed by OpManager, ServiceDesk Plus, Applications Manager and Device Expert. All of them uses the passwords for servers or network devices. But what if that company choose the Password manager pro and reset the passwords for every week? Can PMP send the password information for those password change? Or Technicians should change the passwords one by one.
Response Due by time
Is there a way to set the responded time manually for example we call the user instead of email them? This really messes our SLA's up because we do not email everyone so we cannot capture the response time very reliably? Basically have something that says we called the user and that would set the responsed time for us instead of having to send an email from the ticket. Thanks Kevin Hardy

AD Manager - New Feature Request
Hello, I'm not sure if these features are available but please add the following: 1. Instead of appending a number for a username that already exists, can you use the first and second intial. (ex: John Smith -- jsmith & josmith) 2. If a workflow request is rejected, would it be possible for the requestor to edit the request instead of creating a new one. Incorrect VLAN ID on Juniper switch
Eval version of OpUtils 6. As shown in attachment, the incorrect vlan id is shown. For example, interface ge-0/0/0 is on vlan 38 (as seen in vlan name field), but vlan ID incorrectly shows '6'. This is a Juniper EX3300-40P switch.
8112 email issue
We have upgraded to manage engine 8112 and now we are having an issue with email. It seems that after the update squirrelmail users are getting blank emails. From what I can tell there is no longer a html body tag in the email and they just come in blank. I have tried firefox and IE and the issue is the same. Gmail exchange or yahoo are not effected by this issue. Please advise.
Cannot create layer 2 topology map with Juniper switch as seed device
Currently evaluating OpManager. Added switches and trying to create layer 2 map. Choose core switch as seed device, which is a Juniper EX4500-40F running JunOS 11.4R1.6. Map is not created saying no links discovered. Also tried another Juniper EX4500-40F core switch at another network site. This time core switch was added, but no other attched devices were discovered. At both sites LLDP is enabled. Attached switches are Juniper EX and Nortel/Avaya 5500 series switches.
Importing historical data from a 3rd party source
Hello, I would like to import some data into OpManager that is currently unrelated to any performance monitor already in my installation. The data comes from a script I use to monitor, in this case, stats from Apache webservers. I know I can add the script to OpManager and start collecting data like that, but I would also like to import the historical data over the past few years that I've already collected, so I can have nice graphs and a centralized location for the data. Is this possible? Thank
Disable Alarms in OpManager
Dear all There are lots of alarms for my devices which make the status of device to "trouble" and those alarms are not really necessary to follow step by step. and most of the time the message is something like "Interface 'FastEthernet0/21-Fa0/21' is down.or Interface 'FastEthernet0/21-Fa0/21' is up" I dont want these alarms come every minute in the alarm page. How can I disable or customize the settings for alarms. because with each of these messages the status of device goes from clear to trouble

Hey, I'm trying to configure an URL monitor that has multiple parameters (3, to be exact) but from what I've seen the querystring only takes into account the first one, ignoring the rest. Example URL: https://api.example.com/api/command Example Parameters: username=UserAR password=PassAR cmd=CREDS If I test it like this, the webservice returns a "need password", so I thought maybe it's authentication. NetFlow Analyzer stops collecting data randomly
I've installed version 9600 on Ubuntu Server 12.04 64 bit. It is installed and running great (1 interface currently) but it stops collecting data after a while. The time interval is not consistent and the web page still works fine there just isn't any new data. Any ideas?
Screens not rendering properly
I am testing build 8112. I have started up the service using run.bat. I have created an alias url of usmkd100.drs-ps.drs.master:8080. When I am logged directly on that server and log onto the client using _http://localhost:8080, the screens render just fine.
