Top 10: Volumes with most Disk Usage showing incorrect data
In the Home -> Top 10 view, one device is showing a volume has 383% utilization (attachment1). When I look at the device snapshot, I see that same volume at 31% utilization. Odd though that the free disk space for the same volume is 383GB (attachment2). When I view the monitor details, it does show that there was a 383% monitor value (attachment3). Has anyone seen this before? Could it be a reference issue or something specifically to do with hyper-v hosts? This is on OpManager10 running on PGSql
OpManager Central MSSQL Login Failure
Installing Central on a new server (same hostname and IP address). The issue is that the login to the MSSQL database fails. I can login fine with the same credentials using a SQL client or the SQL management studio. Ruled out the dynamic port issue mentioned in other threads and declaring the instance makes no difference. What am I missing? This is a OpManager Central 64bit installation trying to run on a 2008R2 64bit server. Any input is appreciated.

URL Monitor Name in the generated alarm
I have seen this suggested once before on this site, but that post was from a long while ago and nothing has been done yet. On alarms generated by a URL Monitor, there is no option on the notification profile to include the URL monitors name ( how that wasnt an option from the beginning seems like a flaw.) A lot of the URL's we monitor consist of just IP addresses as opposed to actual names (i.e. 209.128.19.2/.../... and not www.myname.com) so there is no way for us to know which website it is that
Unable to delete URLs
Hi , I am trying to delete URLs through the following page: Admin-->URL Monitor, but I got the following errors: "Unable to delete the selected URL(s)". Please refer to the attachment. BTW, the URL that I am trying to delete is in "Service Down" status. If I add a new URL with "Clear" status, I am able to delete it. Does deleting URL have anything to do with its status? If yes, how can I delete URLs with "Service Down" status? If no, what could be the problem? Thank you and

Hi. I got a Opmanager build 8811 using a external sql server. I want to install a new Opmanager with the last build at another machine. Is it possible to do that and import the databases of the older opmanager? Which procedures may I execute to convert those files? Thanks. Antonio.
3Com Superstack 3824 Monitoring
I am attempting to monitor a 3Com 3824 but it is not working with the default OID (1.3.6.1.4.1.43.45) that is provided by Opmanager. When I query the switch it returns SysOID:.1.3.6.1.4.1.a3Com.products.hub.superStackSwitch3824. The only OID I can get information returned from is 1.3.6.1.4.1.43.47, but I cannot tell what is what, there are no descriptions. I have tried several MIBs but I am unable to find any that work correctly with this switch. Has anyone dealt with this before?

cannot get much info from a cisco 3550 switch
snmp enabled, i can see if interfaces are up/down, but cannot get any interface traffic data, not even basic cpu or memory utilization data on the dashboard. I am using the default installation of opmanager latest version

Opmanager 8050 Business View Error
We have a problem when trying to open a business view. This includes an exsiting Business View and a Newly crated business view. When opening a business view we get a pagethat just says error. The view still seems to work when added to the dashboard but has a small diagonal link in the top right of the image. Both of these views had the traffic map set as the default view possibly just before they broke. Please see the image from the dashboard and the error attached. Justin

Dear Concerns, We have OPmanager 9 (64Bits) and its running smoothly. I took data backup from (MAINTENANCE DATA GUI) many times but since last few days i unable to take OP MANAGER backup as its consuming many hours and GUI BACKUP tool continue to running for infinite time. There are many files made in Opmanager TEMP folder (SQL file size around 4.7GB) during backup procedure but backup is not finish. Kindly guide me about the same. Arshad
Integration with Service Desk Plus
Hi; I am running Service Desk Plus 8.2.0 listening on port 443 (working fine) I want to integrate our OpManager 10.200 with Service Desk. The integration worked fine via HTTP, but now when I attempt to apply the 'sdp.keystore' file from Service Desk, OpManager simply 'spins' and does not accept the configuration. I have modified the file 'ssl_servicedesk.bat' and added the correct password for -keypass and -storepass values but it doesnt work. any suggestions?

Add Device with Web Server but No SNMP and Not Pingable
We are installing some devices from a third party that we need to monitor, but cannot make any changes to them. They do not respond to either pings or SNMP. They do however have an HTTPS web server running. I tried both Discover and Add Device, but they fail I assume because they are not pingable. Is there a way to add them so that I can monitor just the web port?
What order do Event Log Rules get applied?
When I create a new Event Log rule, how do I know when it's being applied and how? I have 20 Event Log Rules, but I have no idea if events are being passed through all the rules and what they're matching.

Opmanager upgrade from 10000 to 10200; web interface no longer responding, etc...
Just upgraded our 10000 instance to 10200 and nothing seems to be working anymore.. I don't see the child processes pinging or sending SNMP requests. WMI/SNMP and Network cards
Hello, Is it possible to monitor network cards using WMI only? We have a couple of new servers that do not have SNMP installed and so we are monitoring purely through WMI. We are picking up most information but the network interfaces are not displayed and when you try to rediscover you get an error message saying that SNMP is not running and so network cards cannot be found. Saw a post from about a year ago saying we cannot monitor cpu usage by core, is this true? This seems pretty unbelievable considering how long opmanager has been around. Does anyone have some custom scripts? Thanks

I have multiple similar instances of processes running in a server. I want to monitor all the instances separately. Now what happens is, when i select a instance, OpManager is clubbing all such instances and displaying it as one with number of instances as 10. How can I monitor individual instances of similar processes.
