SNMP Query returns string value, how can I convert to integer?

SNMP Query returns string value, how can I convert to integer?

I have a Qnap network storage device.  When I query its Free Disk Space via SNMP, it returns a STRING value.  Which I can't graph or base a threshold on.
 
Can you suggest a workaround?
