OpManager Central MSSQL Login Failure

OpManager Central MSSQL Login Failure

Installing Central on a new server (same hostname and IP address). The issue is that the login to the MSSQL database fails. I can login fine with the same credentials using a SQL client or the SQL management studio.

Ruled out the dynamic port issue mentioned in other threads and d eclaring the instance makes no difference.  

What am I missing?

This is a OpManager Central 64bit installation trying to run on a 2008R2 64bit server. 

Any input is appreciated.
