Syslog rule creates an alarm but doesn´t send SMS
Hello all I have the following issue: I had configured my syslog rules to capture any failed login, so I went to the notification profile and created a Modem based SMS Profie for this rule, also I associate the profile with the server. I generate a failure of login failure, I see the alarm generated in the dashboard but didn´t recieve the sms, I tried with a email profile and it beheaves the same way, when I go to reports and check on Notification profiles triggered I see the notifications
OpManager able to close a call
If something is reported by OpManager, such as a response time notification, and the rearm value is set, then two calls are logged (quite correctly) in SD+. It would be useful if the call could be closed or partially closed. For statistics purposes, we still want the incidents logged, even if cleared, but would prefer an auto-closure option. For us, this is significant for logging when response times on Websites go through the roof (we have 42). They will often then reset and we would like them
Opmanager integration into Service Desk Plus
I have tried numerous times to integrate OpManager into SDP. Both products are on the most current builds, and I have followed the instructions for supplying domain credentials without success. Both products reside on the same server and aside from the integration function normally. Any help would be apprectiated. Thanks, Tim

Adding a device successful, but then not found in system
Since upgrading to build 8050 from 8025 I am unable to add any devices to the system. No errors on the upgrade and since we have not had any issues with general use / monitors or the website itself. We have an unlimited node license. Please help as I have new servers and a remote router that I must have monitored for compliance and statistical purposes. Regards, Ash

After the installation of 8030, I can no longer rediscover the interfaces of our Adtran devices. Other routers do not seem to be effected. Has anyone experienced this? Thank you

We have checked "restart this service, if the service unavailable" ... This mashine, is monitored trough WMI, don't have SNMP community ... It is very important to us, to work properly ! Hi, Is there a possibilty to create a template for dc or exchange monitoring? Or how can I change a treshold for a exchange, dc monitor, so this will work on every dc, exchange server? And some further questions: - I don't see any interfaces on windows server? Do I have to enable SNMP on the servers? Shouldn't it work with WMI only? - On some devices I see only the IP address and no DNS name, although there are DNS entries for this devices? - When I do a device import, all the servers will be recognized

linux disk space monitoring
Im trying to monitor a red hat ent server, snmp is fine and i can monitor cpu and memory usage but not disk space. In mib browser i can get the values but the disk space has no data on the server object any ideas? thanks

ttl Expired and device is up in Opmanager
hy guys! Some devices are unavailable (category routers) are up in status, although they are down. When do I make the Ping Test the devices reported that the ttl has expired. Status should be down in Opp, but this does not occur. some idea of what might be happening?

MS SQL issue since upgrading to 8050
I just upgraded to 8050 and afterward all my MS SQL monitors are gone. Every server I had the monitors setup on shows the monitor dashboard but all the monitors are gone. I added the monitors back for my main cluster but most of them are now showing alarms. Here is one of the alarms.. Average Lock Wait Time is 837541 ms, threshold value for this monitor is 2048 ms Before the upgrade all the monitors were fine. Not only did the upgrade remove all the current monitors and make the new ones way off

Router changed IP - unable to rediscover interfaces
Hi, We've recently had to change the primary IP address of our core Cisco router to fix some QOS issues. This then caused the device to appear as not available. I changed the IP address and now I can see Availability, CPU, Memory, etc but on the listed interfaces I'm not getting any traffic or utilisation like I was before the IP change. I am using Opmanager Version 8 It is showing sites as active Monitoring Interval is 5 mins If i try to ping the site , The results that I am getting are Reply from 10.63.0.1: TTL expired in transit. WMI Problems
I have started having problems with WMI global paramaters. When testing credentials the global account fails. If I use the below credential for the device and input the same credentials it passes. If I then switch back to global it passes. Closing it out and coming back in the global account fails again. Any Ideas

But my problem is that i can't have processor and memory usage, profiles check (snmp cli) always failed. I tried to upgrade snmp version on client server. Data Not Available on the CPU Custom Reports!

We installed the opmanager MSP probe in one of our servers.However when we try to access the web console, we are getting an internal server error.The probe is not getting registered with the central server. we tried starting the server using startdms.bat from D:\Program Files\AdventNet\ME\Probe\bin . But it is getting stuck at "DMS is waiting for registration from the Central Server." Can anyone help me with this

Hi, I'm looking to change our current configuration for the notifications profiles, currently, most of our switches have the "Alert on 1 miss" setting, wich is a bit annoying, because this cause a lot of e-mail to come to us, we would like to change this setting to 2 polls, but the options are 1, 3 or 5. 1 seem to send mail whenever the device misses a ping, wich happens often (Adtran switches seem to "ignore" ping request if too buzy, and we dont know what is the switch threshold to say it is buzy,

Hi i have an implementation question I have a Linux Redhat system with Oracle installed. I want to create a New Monitoring (Bulk) that it will - Connect (I have the user and Password) - Execute a query that will report back a number (i have this) - Bring Back the query response (number of records in a table) - Create an alert based on the response (if >20) - Clear the alert based on the response (if<20) - Have a Graph reporting the perfomance of the query.
