Hello all,

I have a OPmanager8 configured on a Windowsxp machine monitoring several devices including some solaris10 servers, I have configured the solaris10 to send the syslog to my Opmanagermachine, however I can´t capture anything am I missing some configurations steps ?

Here is ther proof that solaris10 is sending the syslog.

publica -> cam     SYSLOG C port=39172 mail.info: <22>Feb 25 20:26:54
     publica -> cam     SYSLOG C port=39172 mail.info: <22>Feb 25 20:27:54
     publica -> cam     SYSLOG C port=39172 mail.info: <22>Feb 25 20:28:54
     publica -> cam     SYSLOG C port=39172 mail.info: <22>Feb 25 20:29:55
     publica -> cam     SYSLOG C port=39172 mail.info: <22>Feb 25 20:30:54
     publica -> cam     SYSLOG C port=39172 mail.info: <22>Feb 25 20:31:54

As you see here the port is 39172 so I added that port to the OPmanager syslog port along with 514.

I know solaris uses UDP 514 for syslog, does OPmanager8 supports this?
