Dell OpenManage Chassis Status
We want to use opmanager for monitoring dell hardware. Now the `chassis status ` oid has several status options : .1.3.6.1.4.1.674.10892.1.200.10.1.2.1,1=other|2=unknown|3=ok|4=noncritical|5=critical|6=nonrecoverable How can we get opmanager to recognize these status when using it as monitor ? (so not as snmp trap) As far as i can see only a threshold can be set but no "status identification" ? regards, Sebas

Hi, I have a Juniper switch EX4200. I created a template but I found that the Juniper CPU and Memory OIDs are not leaf but they have sub-OIDs one for each chassis instance: fan, power supply, Routing Engine, Forwarding Engine and so on. Obviously the CPU is applicable only for the RE or FE not for a fan or a powr supply! This is the same for the memory. Getting stats for specific time periods in a scheduled report
Is there any way to specify a timeframe such as 8:00-8:00 in a scheduled report? I can create (and save) a report with an 8:00-8:00 time frame however when I set it up to be scheduled the time frame is over-written with 24 hours as the time frame (because that is the only choice for a scheduled report). I would like to schedule a report that contains the memory stats from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM. Does anyone know how to do this? I know it can be done manually but I cannot find a way to do when creating
Unable to add MIB for APC UPS
We are trying to configure OpManager to manage an APC UPS and to report environment variables. I have downloaded the latest MIB from APC, but after loading it, I can't access the MIB in OpManager. Every time I try to access it, I get a message "A script on this page is causing Internet Explorer to run slowly. If it continues to run, your computer might become unresponsive". Hi I'm trying to configure a report for a business view. The Business view consists of 4 servers and one switch. I want to be able to check the availability for this Business view from 7 AM till 5 PM Saturday till Wednesday. How can I do this please? Incorrect service monitoring
Hi, we are currently running evaluation period and we discovers few problems. For each server, OpManager by default discovers few services like POP or WEB and starts to monitor them as soon devices are added if they are present. The problem is that OpManager shows that every single server in our network has active and working well the POP, WEB and few other services on different ports. Which is not truth which is confirmed by checking those machines with Nmap. Andy idea what's the problem? Thanks,

Traffic report on two interfaces of Cisco switch
I am currently able to see real time traffic across two interfaces set up as a backbone to another switch however I would like to see a report of the total traffic on these two interfaces over a period of time. Has anyone figure that out with OpManager?

I am using downtime scheduler. It is used to control the error output of load balancer. (1)The error message stops. Used disk space difference over time
Hi In order to provide Capacity Planning info it would be nice to have a "growth" report, be it in MB, GB or % for each partition on each server so I can estimate when drives are liekly to fill up. Hi, after the support in this forum already solved most of my problems, I try it with the last one too. I tried adding our ESX3.5 Servers to the monitoring. I get the message "added successfully" but I don't see the device (also not in Desktops, search returns no results ...) When trying to add them again I get the message that they already exist. Then I have to remove them with the removeDBentriesNew.bat. I tried extending the SNMP timeout but still have no luck. I am not 100% sure that the SNMP

The backup procedure for the ManageEngine products is a bit of a chore in comparison to the rest of my backup system but it has to be done. I understand that there is bat files to stop the service\servers, start the backup, and restart the server\service, so it stands to reason you should be able to create a bat file to do those things in some kind of sequence and use Windows Task Scheduler to automate the backup process correct? Hi, I have problems implementing our new SNMP Temp sensor in Opmanager. 1. The MIB I got from the manufacturer doesn't get accepted by Opmanager. OpManager Update Issue
I was running OpManager update from 8022 to 8050 but this installation ended abruptly. I am able to start OpManager and it works fine but when i go to About, it still shows version 8022. When i try to reinstall the 8050 update, it comes back and says that i already have 8050 update installed. I dont see updates to uninstall in UpdateManager. Is there a way i can re-run the 8050 update? Thanks

Did OpManager support Huawei and H3C devices ?
We have lots of customers who using Huawei or H3C network devices. But i found that OpManager did not support any of those devices, we must create device template by ourself. We did it all the time, each time when we need to install OpManager for customers, we have to recreate those device template again and again. Could you please help us ?

Hi there, Need some help in configuring temperatures and RAID monitoring for Solaris servers and also our Dell PowerEdge 2950 servers. I tried working with the templates provided but couldnt get anywhere and I am not sure if we have the MIBs needed for it on SNMP. I am also trying with the telnet/ssh login creds for the server where i can issue ipmitool sdr list |grep degrees so i can filter some results. Can anyone assist please? Thanks.

Hi! We have several remote offices that we would like to monitor the wan links on. The problem is that we DONT have Cisco routers but we use HP and EdgeCore switches with routing capacity. How can we monitor the response time and traffic on these switches? The WAN Add-on only seems to work on cisco routers.
