ManageEngine Backup Question
The backup procedure for the ManageEngine products is a bit of a chore in comparison to the rest of my backup system but it has to be done. I understand that there is bat files to stop the service\servers, start the backup, and restart the server\service, so it stands to reason you should be able to create a bat file to do those things in some kind of sequence and use Windows Task Scheduler to automate the backup process correct? Then my normal backup would run and the running db would not be backed up but the backup folder that was just populated by said Scheduled Task would be effectively automating the backup process. Am I off base here? If that is doable what would that bat file look like or what order would the existing bat files need to be ran in?
I am talking specifically about Opmanager, EventLog Analyzer, and DeviceExpert.
Thanks
