Snmp Traps is not shown after added the trap processor
Hi OpManager experts,
I have difficulties when the traps processor for the 'unsolicited traps' is created, the traps doesn't shown in the alarms section.
Below is the steps i did to the opmanager,
1. Install OpManager under ubuntu 10.04.
2. Start OpManager with root access.
3. send trap to the localhost ip using the snmptrap tool from net-snmp:
#> sudo snmptrap -v 1 -c public localhost '' localhost 2 1 ''
4. The trap is sent, and can be seen under opmanager "unsolicited traps"
5. Create the trap processor for the particular trap.
6. Send snmp trap again, to check if the trap processor is working fine.
7. No alarm is seen from the alarm section, as well as from the unsolicited traps section.
8. Try to change the traps.parser file for the nodeDefn and SrcDefn to $Agent doesn't help either.
