Error in SNMP polling Barracuda Spam Filter
Hi All, I'm trying to create a device template for a Barracuda 600Vx and have some issues with the polls. Using the MIB browser I get an error stating: "Request failed or timed out. Response PDU received from **.**.**.** Error Indication in response: There is no such variable name in this mib. Errindex: 1". If I use Paessler SNMP tester I get a correct response using the same OID. After a Wireshark trace it seems that OpManager is adding a trailing .0 to the OID. Paessler is querying .1.3.6.1.4.1.20632.2.3
Cannot find deleted template
Version 12 of Central with Probe (Enterprise I believe) - So I made a new device template, Windows 2012 R2 server, and associated it with MIB .1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.2 and tried to assign it to a couple 2012 R2 servers. I couldn't get any monitors to report back anything in inventory afterwards though, so I deleted the template and tried to re-create it, but I when I do, I get the following error: .1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.2 OID is associated to [Windows 2012 R2,] Templates. opmanager v12 MIB import
Hi, I am trying to add some MIB's for ubiquiti wireless devices but i am having some issues. I have copied the MIB files to opmanager/mibs but when i go to add monitor > snmp > from MIB the mib files are not showing up, is there something else i need to do to import them? v12 doesnt seem to have alot of documentation for it.

Hi. I integrate the Serverscheck to OPManager and I want to monitor the temperature in the room. I also want it to alert me when the temperature is high or critical. But the conditions are (Not Contains, Contains, Not Equal, Equal, Match Regex). Please see attached photo.
Interfaces Up and Down notification
Hi There Opmanager 12.2 I have about 100 switches listed in my opmanager, If I don't want to receive notification when some interfaces going up and down I have to unflag the status PO option? but I have to click in the interface one by one??? No multi select option?? (it was there in the OP 11) For examble I have clients switches and I receive the notification every day when the users shutdown and turn on the computer, because the interface go up and down, but I want to receive this notification

OpManager SNMPv3
Hi Team, I have a couple of issues with OpManager (12100), I am trying to discover and monitor all my devices using SNMPv3, when the devices are discovered, they are all monitored via ICMP instead of SNMPv3 even choosing only SNMPv3 Credentials to discover. Secondly, the devices which does not have any default template in OpManager, when I try to add custom template and query the device to get device identifier, I get either "discovery failed" when using 8001 port or "Time synchronization failed"

Possibility to tag devices when adding them
Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to "tag" a switch with a custom variable? For instance, when we're adding network devices, we'd like to tag some of them as "Core" and some with "Access". Then, we'd like those with the "Core"-tag to do an interface discovery on, and detect operational status, bandwidth and errors. Using the CIDR/IP discovery, it gets applied to everything, and we do not want to get alarms when an access switch has issues. Thanks in advance. Best regards, Anton

Custom Template will not poll
Hi, I have a new build of 12.1 that I am having issues with polling for a custom template. Initially I installed OM with the PostgreSQL database but then opted to uninstall and reinstall on the same server with MS SQL Express. I created a custom template for a device which queries without problem when testing the monitors. However, the device never actually gets polled. OpManager 11600 re-apply a template on a VM removes all VMware monitors
Hi, the title pretty much says it all: a vCenter with a few hundred hosts, SNMP-enabled and a few custom templates. Whenever I make an adjustment to the template and force a re-apply on the associated devices to reflect those changes, all the VMware monitors are lost, and we're unable to re-add them manually. Hi all, Running into a bit of an issue here, probably me just being new to Opmanager but I cant work this out at all. I understand the device templates, so that when you add a device it picks up what it is automatically and places it under that template and applies whatever monitors and thresholds are set in that template. i.e - Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2012 R2 etc etc My issue is, I have 100s of servers I want to monitor with different requirements. Server monitors not showing data
Hello, On opmanager some servers show the CPU/Memory/Disk utilization fine but on other servers using the exact same template nothing shows up unless you click on the window. I've tried making a custom template, removing the monitors and re-adding them as well as changing to a different template as well. Nothing has worked. Add a new vendor (not category)
Hi, OpManager uses a three-tiered approach in classifying the devices: Vendor Category Type As users, we can assign a custom type in the form of a template - still there are a few monitors statically derived from the Vendor (eg. Dell) and Category (eg. Server). From the interface you can add a new Category (like "Environmental Montors" derived from UPS) and of course you can create a template to fine-grain a set of devices. Hi. I have Hyper-V servers and I use FC to connect storage (i have 3 CSV luns ). When I started monitoring Hyper-V in Opmanager i received many alarms: Disk Write Latency is 4762 Disk Write Latency (Millisecond), threshold value for this monitor is 50 Disk Write Latency (Millisecond). Can you explain me, how i can investigate which object generate high Disk Write Latency ???

Opmanager - interface down alarms - Generate Alarms option.
Hi I have read many posts on the topic, but there still does not seem to be an useable answer. Problem: Opmanager generates alarms for any switch ports that are down on a managed device. Scenario: The main problem is having alarms on access switch ports. Alerts on routers or core-switches are a good idea, but on access switches, alarms are a nuisance. OpMan v12.1 - Remove custom monitors from monitors list.
Hello, I have created a custom SNMP monitor for a Cisco CCM device. While tinkering with the settings, I created a couple custom monitors I now need to remove from the monitors list. There doesnt seem to be a UI element to allow me to remove a custom monitor from the monitors list. Is this possible? I can remove the monitor from the device template, but if I want to use the same OID and name for a corrected monitor, it will not let me. Thanks, Blane

Adding vmware servers - Best Practice
Hi, What is the best practice when adding vmware servers/hosts (these are the vms which are running linux/windows)? The reason is, our license shows a max of 150 devices and Virtual Devices Monitoring as unlimited Hosts. We are currently unable to add any hosts as we are at 150 devices. virtual machine Template - CPU, Memory Thresholds
Now that we have converted the vSphere Virtual machines into the new UI, can you tell me how I adjust their thresholds? We have a VM alerting for 82% memory, which in this case is pretty good (no need to take action). So I would like to adjust this alert for this one VM.
