Problem in Getting Alarm
Dear Team, I am new to OPMANAGER.I have tried to configure some performance monitors for NVR.However I am able to add that one but the I can't get the real time values and alarms for the monitors.When I checked in Alarm details for this specific device ,I have found that the data collection for this device is made daily once only.For the other devices I am getting real time values and alarms.Please find the attached Alarm list and other details. Hi, We were creating new custom device templates for Arista switches, but some made a mistake while was writing the vendor name, he wrote "ARISTRA" instead "ARISTA", is there any way to delete it or rename it? Regards.
No Windows 10 Support
In opmanager 12 I notice there is no Windows 10 Template. That seems a bit odd. Also on desktops Windows 7/8 and 10 no RAM or HDD details are being pulled. I am using WMI (full domain admin). The desktops are on the same subnet as the opmanager server and there is no firewall etc Bob

Editing Device Template / Monitor OID?
I'm trying to edit an OID to create a custom monitor (or enter it manually, I don't mind!), once selected through the MIB browser it's not editable when creating the monitor - so it uses the table ID, and I can't select the instance. Useless for my purpose where different instances need to be monitored and have different values! Has anyone found a way to select an instance (i.e. edit the OID to add ".1" or ".2") for the individual interface's parameter to be read? Thanks, David H.
Disabling MSSearch Service Monitor for SQL Server 2008 R2
Hello All, We are using OP Manager to check our Production Servers and we have Alarms as shown below: The above server is configured with Windows Credentials and the default SQL Template was automatically assigned by OPManager. However, looking into the services.msc and also the SQL Server Config Manager showed that the MSSearch service does not exist. Also we have never used or required this feature. Performance Monitors Dials and Graphs
I am using build 11600 and the Performance Monitors Dials and Graphs are missing from the API client however, they are visible when I switch to the old U/I. Is there a fix for this?
Device Templates - Editing Thresholds - "Consecutive Times" changes not updating
If I edit a device templates thresholds and change the Consecutive Times form the default value of 1, click OK and then re-editing shows that it is still the value of '1'. Change value, Click OK and immediate Associate to devices (i.e. without re-editing), checking the monitor for the given device(s) shows its still the value of '1'. If I change the value directly from the devices Monitors screen and save, the change sticks. Result, I have to manually edit every process monitor individual per device
SNMPv3 errors when trying to discover
This is one of the errors I get even though passwords are the same on everything and encryption is the same. No matter what I do, SNMPv3 does not work in OpMgr for me. Anyone else having issues? Well, I tried to attach a screen shot, but it said the parameters was exceeded.

Free Disk Space monitor not applying
Hey guys I've applied a working device template to several file servers, and while it has populated the CPU and Memory Util monitors, the Free Disk Space monitor refuses to show up. I've even added both SMTP and WMI monitors, and neither works for Free Disk Space. (please see attached) This is the Windows Server 2012 R2 device template, and it works perfectly fine on other servers, so it's clearly something up with these specific servers. Any suggestions as to what the issue could be? Thanks in advance!

So the file size monitoring is not required for our SQL servers so I have been removing each File Size monitoring from each of the SQL Servers one by one. Two part question: I removed it from a server but its still reporting NEW alarms saying that there are files bigger than the threshold that was previously in place. Liebert UPS Monitoring
Hi Everyone, I've done some searching in the threads but all the post I've found are several years old with no real answers. I'm trying to monitor 2 GXT2 Liebert UPS's from Emerson. When I provide the SNMP credentials, Op Manager detects them properly, but no graphs are showing up. I suspect the OIDS are incorrect, but I've tried some mibs and still no luck. We're using the latest version of Op Manager. Has anyone had any luck setting up these? I've attached a picture as well. Thanks!

Device Templates not working
Good day I've taken over monitoring at our company and started working on a pre-existing probe. When working on the Windows Server 2012 R2 device template, I set the monitors and their thresholds and everything else, but when I hit Apply I get a blank page. I've logged out and back in to the probe, even restarted the server, but nothing helps. We have other probes setup of other enviroments and it works fine on there, so I know how it's supposed work. What do you think the issue could be? Issue

Hello, I am using Opmanager as a monitoring system for my network devices. I want to make a standard Threshold template with custom values. I did edit of the existing interface template and applied on all related interfaces with Apply template to all interfaces option For example: Admin > Interface Templates > all types and did edit of template 135 L2VLAN. the new template is applied on all interfaces, but when i go particular device interface which has the same type : Type L2vlan (135) this interface

Request: Too many interfaces!
All my servers have over 2 dozen software interfaces, like "WAN Miniport" or "Packet Scheduler". I don't want to monitor these by default when discovering devices. I would like to create a custom interface template based on the name of the interface. For example, don't monitor any interface name "WAN Miniport". Alternatively, can you add an option to disable monitoring of new discovered interfaces when adding a new device? Then I can manually just enable monitoring of the one or two "real" interfaces.
Editing Thresholds on Virtual Devices
When I added my vCenter all devices came back as Virtual Devices, once I started adding the SNMP and WMI passwords on these devices OpManager changed their category to Windows... Great. However, now I want to do a mass edit on the thresholds for the VIWebServices, I've edited at the original template level fine, but now that all my servers are 'Windows' boxes they are no longer picking up the template. How do I edit the thresholds of all these devices without manually going through a few hundred

Hi forum, this is my first post. Thanks all for the answers... In my company I've a critical problem with monitoring Freebsd servers. We have about 200 server (VM and physical server) and we are moving monitoring from Nagios to Opmanager, but it's impossible to monitor the process on the servers, because I don't have any alarms.
