Hi, after i created a new template for Cisco Aironet 1602E, i try to add new monitors, example "Signal Quality Wireless" and "Signal Strenght Wireless" as in picture. Work fine, but when i look on Monitor label about new monitors i see strange value look on picture "strange_value.png". What does that value means ? Can i change it ? Thk

Unable to change Category in Device Details
Hi there, We are running OpManager build# 11500 and currently have an issue when trying to update/change the "Category" value for a device. Under the Device Details tab for an individual device we do the following: Click on "Edit" icon (top right hand side) In the "Category" drop-down list select a new category Click on "OK" At the end of the process we do get an " Info" message at the top indicating "Field values are successfully updated to the database". However, the category value doesn't change.
Device Templates associated to groups of similar servers
I have only seen older posts regarding this question but haven't seen any updates to them. I have a few hundred windows Server 2012 R2 servers that are grouped logically by development regions in our environment. Example: dev, test, stage, prod. These servers all run the same OS and configuration. We group them logically by server naming convention and what region they are in. I have a Cisco 4500 Switch that has multiple module cards in it. We are trying to monitory the temperature on each of them. Using CISCO-ENVMON-MIB and OID .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3 (ciscoEnvMonTemperatureStatusValue) we get the values returned fine. However the descriptions don't come through. So we get the instance ID rather than the NAME of the module. Is there a way to join .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.2(ciscoEnvMonTemperatureStatusDescr) and the .1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.13.1.3.1.3 (ciscoEnvMonTemperatureStatusValue)

Looking for a device template for Procurve switches
Does anyone know where I can find a basic device template for any of these procurve models? I'm new to Opmanager and MIBs and don't really know how to set up a template. OpManager support told me they would look at a template if I know what I want from the MIBs. When I downloaded the MIBs and viewed them in the browser most had red crosses over them which I assume means they don't work with my switch. I am trying to create template for windows hosts but need to be able to have a group of server(s) in one or more templates e.g All - cpu/disk/temp to be monitored Sql - cpu/disk/sql/temp none - none. however these servers would be also be based on regions of the country or a GROUP What I found to be difficult is to be able to have my ALL template on every server, but then be able to have servers in regions , NE, NW, MW, MC etc. I would think that you have the following server names

Are Avaya devices supported in the current build for OpManager
We have a client which is trying to monitor their Avaya Devices but the device templates or the vendor for Avaya Devices is not listed in the application. We also tried to apply the proper MIBs to be able to discover these Avaya devices but we are unable to upload them properly. Are Avaya devices supported in the current version of OPManager 11400? Thresholds in device templates do not retain values
I am on 11400 and have created a new device template, copy of Windows 2003, and removed all monitors to start anew. After adding monitors, I can set the threshold amounts the 1st time but if I try to edit them later, after applying to devices, the behavior is strange. If I have 7 monitors and I edit them all and save, all 7 assume the last settings I changed! This is useing the 'Edit Thresholds' option in the template dialog. Good Day, I do not know what happened, but all of our server types has been updated to snmpnode, so when we click on a server name we get the error message, unable to find object I have to go to admin and discover the devices again, then it gets the correct details again, but the availability graph does not display.
