Custom monitor, how to select one instance value from "get bulk"?
I have a custom monitor which uses an SNMP "getbulk" for table entries which returns enumerated values (i.e. OID.1, OID.2 etc.), the "test monitor" function in edit monitor however times out with"Monitor did not respond to the test request"... Running a packet sniffer on the same server interface as the OpManager server shows the SNMP requests go out, and the replies with data (all 10 enumerated responses are present with sequence numbers all equal to the request sequence number). Hi. Can a MIB table be polled and the status of the entries returned in opManager? More specifically I'm looking for the status { allUp ( 1 ) , functionalUp ( 2 ) , partialUp ( 3 ) , stopped ( 4 ) } of a dynamically changing number of Service Groups in our load balancers and marked against the name of the Service Group. Can the values (1-4) be mapped to human friendly names/titles? So, for each entry, returning name(s) .1.3.6.1.4.1.22610.2.4.3.3.1.2.1.1 and then pairing it against the value of
OpManager monitor fails to get info however MiB browser pulls info.
Hi everyone, In OpManager I’ve added ~35 device monitors via template and one of the monitors “Disk Utilization” did not respond to the test request. 5 monitors were added in total for each device and only this monitor failed; but when I check for this OID in MIB Browser – reply received. hi there, OpManager build 11400 we have lots of HP printers, when querying for OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.43.11.1.1.9 , it returns different "values" depending on the models. On older HP LaserJet 2420, it returns the "unit" value: new toner capacity reads as 6000 current supply level reads 4500 in reality, the user would prefer to see 75% displayed instead of 4500 On newer (sort of) HP LaserJet P3015, it returns the percentage value. Since both devices have the same SysOID ... any advice on how to set up monitors
Monitor name for different vendor
Hi there, When I'm creating new Device Template with different Vendor , why I can't use the same Monitor Name ? Example: we have HP and Toshiba printers they have different vendor/sysOID, but still have the same black toner OID when creating new device template with the Monitor Name as "Black Toner Lv", it pops up a message: A Monitor already exists in that name Does that mean I should start recreate all my custom monitor to something like: HP Black Toner Lv Toshiba Black Toner Lv ?
Reporting isssues with Partition Details of the Device(%)
Hi We use the Partition Details of the Device(%) to give us an indication of the free space, we have an issue where each drive on the server reports the same usage as the the c drive, ie c drive 80% d drive 80% e drive 80% Which isn't the case. It happens on both virtual machines and physical machines. It uses WMI which I have tested and passes it's test. On some of the drives there are mount points. Any ideas? Cisco Aironet 1140 - Template?
Hi Guys, I'm trying to add my Cisco Aironet 1140 AP's to OPManager but for whatever reason, no existing template finds the interfaces, cpu, memory or anything else. Need Guidelines for Setting Up Custom Monitors
Hello-- I uploaded the MIB from Symantec on their Symantec Protection Engine for NAS version 7.5 and am trying to create monitors in OpManager to be able to be notified when events occur in SPE for NAS. I've been trying to configure the monitor after I read another forum post here, and I still need more details. CPU Utilization widget
Hello, I'm trying to configure CPU utilization monitoring for Juniper SRX 110. I've added device template and CPU utilization monitor. And on the Snapshot of the device I can see this information under Performance Monitors, but CPU Utilization widget on the Snapshot still shows "No Data Available" Is there any way to fix it? Custom Monitor ALLOT
Hi I have configured a custom monitor that test an ALLOT PIPE. I have tested the SNMP with the following command from the server: snmpwalk -v 3 -u MD5 -a MD5 -A MD5UserAuthPassword12 -l authNoPriv 172.24.133.75 .iso.3.6.1.4.1.2603.5.4.2.1.10.7.0.0.48 And so the answer is: iso.3.6.1.4.1.2603.5.4.2.1.10.7.0.0.48 = Counter64: 28061 That works fine. But when I test the monitor within the Opmanager probe I've got results that aren't good (usually 0 but others) The Opmanager is running on Linux. Thanks

Hi, Few days ago i have installed from zero the 11300 on a new server - Windows 2012. I have created 11 new Custom monitors for Cisco equipment and added them to an existing (out of the box template): Cisco Catalyst 3750 Series. I have added 2 devices and all was running fine. I have used some of those monitors on another template also. After some time (1-2 hours) I discovered I have put a wrong threshold for one of the monitors into the template of 3750 switches. Temperature monitor - convert Celcius to Farenheit?
I'm monitoring temperatures from several device types of different brands. I'd like to show temperatures in Farenheit rather than Celcius. Is there an easy way to convert the values in the monitors to F? The formula prefix option when adding the monitor in the device template does not seem to work (CelciusToFahrenheit[.1.3.6.1.4.1.232.6.2.6.8.1.4]).
Fortigate MIB's
we are using a series of clustered fortigate 300C's across all sites. The templates that you provide are for very old hardware, and do not seem to have been updated in years. the MIBS used are different for fortigate, and not event he CPU util% works. can you please update your templates to reflect modern hardware

device template changes not applying
Using OpManager 10.2, i've gone into Admin, device templates and changed a templates CPU and Memory Utilization performance monitors from WMI to SNMP, clicked apply, selected a server to update, it tells me the update was successful but when i check the server the changes haven't updated. I've also tried the 'apply and overwrite' option and no change. Any feedback would be much appreciated, thanks.
