Same vendor+OID, different values

OpManager build 11400
we have lots of HP printers, when querying for OID .1.3.6.1.2.1.43.11.1.1.9 , it returns different "values" depending on the models.
On older HP LaserJet 2420, it returns the "unit" value:

On older HP LaserJet 2420, it returns the "unit" value:
- new toner capacity reads as 6000
- current supply level reads 4500
- in reality, the user would prefer to see 75% displayed instead of 4500
On newer (sort of) HP LaserJet P3015, it returns the percentage value.
Since both devices have the same SysOID ... any advice on how to set up monitors with different Units and threshold?
I've tried adding 2 monitor with the same OID (different name though) but somehow both fails to display anything; maybe it clashes or something.
