I have created device template with a New Vendor, category server and Type Is the type is the feature of the server.

Vendor =Vendor

Category = Server

Type = Vendor File Server

These are Windows Servers. However when I apply this template to server I want I lose the ability to use the Windows Service Monitors.  When I add the Windows Service Monitor via Quick Configuration Wizard, I can check to Monitor but if say the service is actually down, I do not receive an alert. It seems to me that the server needs to be in a Type = Windows Whatever in order to have the Windows Service Monitors, which is very limiting. Any advice on this would be great.
