So the file size monitoring is not required for our SQL servers so I have been removing each File Size monitoring from each of the SQL Servers one by one.

Two part question:

I removed it from a server but its still reporting NEW alarms saying that there are files bigger than the threshold that was previously in place. How long should it normally take to stop seeing new alarms (I cleared the old ones after I deleted the rule)

Can I set Templates? For instance I have a bunch of Dev servers that we want different reporting on to normal servers - can I create a "Dev Server Template" and then apply it to Server1, Server3, Server4 while exempting Server2?
