Self Service Portal closes after a few seconds
Hi guys, I have the feeling that since the new version of Desktop Central (10.0.386) the SelfService Portal crashes/closes after a few seconds. When I try to reopen it the same thing happens again. DesktopCentral is running on a W2k16 Server 64bit and my client is running Win10 Pro 64bit. Best regards, Daniel
Desktop Central License Association to Computers
I am trying to associate licenses to a specific software with no success. The amount of licenses is correct and I have filled in all the other information and added the license file. When I click to associate to machines nothing shows. Not sure If am doing wrong but the summary page doesn't show the license as used.
Delete registry value doesn't check if value exists and runs into an error
Hi, I'm deploying a configuration to disable autostarting an application by removing its autostart entry from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run. Since I don't know on which machines the autostart is enabled I'm deploying the config to all machnies but on machines without this registry value the config exited with an error "The system can not find the specified file". Which looks like there is no check if the value exists before dc tries to delete it.

[SOLVED] 10500 Update issue with custom certificate
Update kept failing just before the database (SQL) update. When I switched the server.xml back to default the update went through but with either that one left in place or the one calling my cert back in place the server never gets beyond server started............... suggesting something not right in the server.xml?
Backup restoration hangs
I was backup my ServiceDesk Plus MSP 9204 then do a new installation on Ubuntu 16.04.2. New installation works fine. Finally when trying to restore my backup it hangs. Unable to assign tickets to technicians
Hello, I'm currently in the process of setting up the free version of ME ServiceDesk Plus to use with our college and I'm having some problems with access rights. At the present time I've been able to configure the system and start creating indecent templates but technicians who open tickets are unable to assign them to anyone. Admin/Oper Status - Interface Summary - Line Protocol status not updating
I have an issue where an interface's line protocol status is not being updated on OpManager's Interface Summary page. This is the current line protocol state of the interface on the device itself which has been down for 5 hours now. This is what is reflecting on OpManager. Because OpManager doesn't reflect the "Oper Status" as down, an alarm wont be sent to Service Desk Plus, which results in a breach of the SLA with the client. Having the ability to search for computers in System Manager via the Description field would be a huge benefit. My point, when joining computers to Active Directory we use the Asset ID for the computer name and the Description field to identify the users. Powershell script after user creation

Wrong Date/Time in web interface
Hello, I did notice that I have the wrong date/time in the web interface. These were taken @ 10:05 and 10:48 (UTC+2). The server logs seem to take the server time into account and are correct. Is there a setting in RecoveryManager to change the display of the time? Thank you
Unable to get Desktop Central to work with Amazon Workspace
Hello, We have multiple Amazon Workspaces in our environment that we have been unable to install desktop central on. I'm unable to remote deploy, I just get a network error every time. I've worked with ManageEngine support and done the suggestion of opening ports 135 and 445 but it did not help at all. Server is automatically rebooting
One of my servers is logging everyone out and rebooting. There is no option to postpone. It is part of my Dynamic Group server test group, but that group is set to "Deploy during business hours(Do not reboot)". Why would the server be ignoring the deployment policy and forcing a reboot? ServiceDesk Plus - incoming emails not fetching
Hi, think this is going to be a long shot but here goes. Version: 10.0 Build 10019, just upgraded to see if it would solve the issue. Inbound emails, fetching from a mailbox has been working fine, the smtp version to send is still working. If I double check the details and click save, it reports all saved but could not connect to the mailbox. I've tried to connect from another service using POP and IMAP and all have been successful. Also I am unable to find any logs reporting failure on fetching.
Can't login with SDADMIN accounts
I Downgraded some ADDC on my domain, and one of them was the server where I authenticated my login accounts. Now i had 2 SDADMIN accounts, but both are domain accounts, and because the domain controller authenticated my accounts for login, now i can't login with a SDADMIN to change the ADDC server to authenticated. Is there a way to upgrade an account to SDADMIN without the UI? or to change the ADDC server where to authenticated?

ADManager Build 6659 - O365 Create User - Failed 'mailNickname'

Superseded Updates still showing as Missing Updates
I have 65 updates that have been Superseded, going all the way back to August of 2018, that are showing up as Missing Updates. Of these 65, one of them was declined back in September of last year, but is still on the missing lists. Desktop Central DS Install locking AD accounts
Every since we upgraded to 10.0.347. when ever we try to install a new DS at a site, Desktop Central locks the AD account without installing the server. The error then reads in Desktop Central "The referenced account is currently locked out and may not be logged on to." We can unlock it, repeat and same issue. We even tried with my AD account and my managers account. Verifying they were not locked to start. Once you attempt to install the DS, it errors out and locks the AD account. This is causing

Because i tried and apply comp leave to a technician on today's date, and create a request specific to the technicians group. We are in the process of cutting over to Office 365 and I am a test user. We are planning to rename our login names (UPN and pre2000) on A\D to make details more uniformed. . As part of the testing I changed my A\D login name (UPN and pre2000). To cut a long story short I had to recreate myself in SDP as a technician logging in via the domain. Patch Download speed/time limiting
Morning, I've been trying to implement the patch management feature of Desktop Central. However, I've been running into a problem: we're on a very limited internet connection, and when it tries to download patches it entirely maxes out the connection and the other staff can't work.
