If we include de field $Description in new reply alert to technician, technician only received the first line of reply. We are running a trimmed backup and it has been running for 1.5 hours. our ticket number that recommended to run a trimmed backup is 5266860. Can you tell me how long it should take to run a trimmed backup? we have 200 technicians, and a little over 1000 nodes.
Multiple Updates being pushed, not installing (KB4493448, KB4493472 32b, KB4493472 64b)

Change requester with SQL script
Hi, I have a bit of a problem. One of our customers have used a consultant for a long time, and have now employed this consultant under their own "flag". The requester have since gotten a new username in their AD and a new requester in SDP MSP. The problem is that they want all the requests he registered when he was a consultant moved to his new requester. So, my question is: Can I somehow, find the ID of the old requester in the database, and with it, change the owner of all the requets he have

Hello, I've had a problem during desktop central forwarding set-up. After certificates have been installed an error occured, that said " 8020 8027 8443 Ports are in use. Disk usage display for Linux
At the moment the disk usage pie chart displayed for Linux hosts isn't very useful if you're using LVM, as it just displays 100% used of an aggregate of all the devices - e.g. I have a new, unused desktop that has 1TB / 8TB /data 256Gb /scratch and the inventory page will display 9.3 TB at 100% usage. ADSS Licence issue
Hi Can i request some help please ? I am having a issue where my licence count is incorrect i have purchased 1400 licence On the licence info drop down it reports that i have consumed 1398 licence Enrolled - 1098 Not-Enrolled - 300 Available - 2 When looking at reports for enrolled i have 1046 enrolled and 145 not enrolled and 1045 licenced users. Running ServiceDesk Build: : 10.0 Build 10017 We've had training on this already by ManageEngine however I am continuing to struggle with notifications on Change Management. There are too many notifications. I have changed the workflow and removed any individuals from the notification list yet it still sends out notifications. For Example. We have a simple change control process. 1. Requester submits a change. 2. Change gets created 3. Requester completes the planning stage No email notifications
Imported wrong certificate, cannot log into console.
I was trying to import a third party certificate using my Windows CA Server. By accident I imported a user certificate and now I cannot log into to the console not matter what I try. I've tried all browsers and I get a certificate mismatch err and it does not allow me to proceed. I opened a ticket yesterday morning (653009) but support has not been able to come up with a solution. I would think that all we need to do it remove the certificate so I assume this would need to be done from command line

When I use search, in funtionction "submit for approval", and do input first name recipient, SD don’t search it, but show loading list logo. This situation continues 8-10 minutes, then I can choose recipient. I think the query is incorrectly work. Is too long time. How can fix it?
Asset type - Change after creation
I see there has been many posts around this, but with no solution, The posts date quite far back, so im hoping the issue has been resolved since and is documented on a post I cant find! :) How do you change an Assets product type? Desktop Central OS Deployment - Incorrect username/password after update
We updated Desktop Central to 10.0.366 over the week and now the OS deployment tool doesn't work. I have updated our bootable media but when we try to deploy image it does not work and I get either an Invalid Username/Password or The specified network password is not correct depending on how I try to deploy the image. I've tried via username/password, via PIN and via MAC address? ANy help greatly appreciated. Mike
No Notification when Sharing a Request to a Department
It is possible for an entire to department to be e-mailed when you share a request with the department? Currently, when I share a request with an individual user an e-mail is sent but this does not seem to be true if you select a department to share the request with. Thank you, Matt

Specs: -Win 2012R2 with latest updates -4 vCPU -8 GB RAM The pmp-service dies/stucks when clicking on 'High Availability' in Admin section. CPU Usage goes up to 60%, RAM Usage stays at about 20%. Not able to update Site for 2 users
Hi All, Firstly I synchronise our AD with the Service Desk Plus requesters. This works fine. I do however have a couple of users where the SITE is not populated. When I go to manually edit for one (a requester) it tells me: FAILURE: Login with same name already exists. Please provide different value for Login Name The name does not exist elsewhere and never has for both individuals. This used to work fine before he switched locations. Unable to Close Purchase Order associated with Purchase request
Hi, I am using Manage engine service desk plus 9.4 version, SQL Server database and facing trouble with closing any Purchase order created through purchase request, while on the other hand, there is no problem closing PO created directly/ without purchase request. Reply window sometimes doesn't close (but reply is sent)
I'm using 10017 but have had this problem for a few previous versions -- it's not common, but occasionally when I click 'send' on a reply the window stays open. The reply is always sent, and if I put in a status change (e.g. open > resolved) that change is actioned. I believe it's most likely to happen if the reply window was open for a while - may be related to draft saving? It's not a big problem for me because it's rare and doesn't seriously interfere with workflow, but I thought it worth mentioning.

Multiple applications running on one server
We have AD Manager, AD Audit, and Data Security running on the same server. We are experiencing issues with AD Audit and Data Security crashing, where you get logged out in the middle of use or get the page is not found. The server is running with 8 cores and 32 GB ram. Is it better to separate these applications to their own servers?

Here is the scenario we do monthly patching on a number of servers. Great ill setup a downtime schedule for these servers so we don't get needless alerts. Say the maintenance is scheduled for 2 hours and i setup a 2 hours downtime schedule. But since i'm such an efficient admin i actually finish in 1 hour and now i want to check my servers health and start monitoring again. Cannot import over 100 contacts at one time (ADM+ is licensed)
I'm trying to update the attributes of contacts by importing a csv file. The file imports just fine, but it won't update more than 100 at a time. We're licensed, and it won't expire until June 5, 2019. I've got thousands of contacts to update and I need the ability to do this in bulk. Thanks!

Have a cloud instance of SDP and trying to test out Actionable Messages and 365 Calendar sync. I was initially trying just using the "Log in with Office 365" button on the sign in page, but then noticed in the help text that it only works if you are logging in with "Microsoft Single Sign on". Secure Gateway Download Requires a Version of Desktop Central Not available
Not sure if I'm missing something but we've had a problem with not being able to patch Roaming computers (over the internet) ever since we moved to the Forward Server, which I now believe is called Secure Gateway. After trying to spend some time troubleshooting the issue I decided to download the latest version of Security Gateway and reinstall it on the server dedicated to it in our DMZ.
