Problems adding Wan RTT monitors
Hi. I'm triying to add some Wan RTT monitos but i can't, I dont have any message apart from "Error!", no error codes or anything. I've checked the snmp and telnet access to our router and works fine, is not a credential problem and I've been able to add wan RTT monitors before without any problems. Any clues?. I'm using OpManager Pro 8050 over windows 2003 server, the router is a L3 switch (cisco catalyst 3560). Regards.

Hi guys, recently I found a bug when I try to modify the default messages for the severity of a threshold. The problem has to do with the character : ' because if I write the following message: The ping action carried out to test the StartTeam's server availability has failed. Probably it indicates a server unavailability so we suggest to do a manual connection test to verify this behavior. HTTP monitoring
Hello, I try to monitor the login page of a clearquest web server. (view source in login.txt file) The Clearquest web server responds as well normally and works fine. When I configure the monitoring with or without match content (Please enter your) and the default settings, I receive an error message: "The server has not found anything matching the requested-URI" error 404 I guess and the health and availability are red. Hardware scan remplaces identical machine but different
Sorry if my English is not very good.I have several identical machines on my network, they differ is in the MAC address in the network card. When you do the scan all I get: Model: System Product Name Service Tag: System Serial Number Therefore, one replaces the other. And if I put it manually, it erases what I added to the above. Fields changed in the hardware of the PC, they are replaced. I need 2 extra functions. The technicians in my company have shift schedules for 24 hours, it would be good
HTTP Status 500 error on login
I am getting a Tomcat error on login to ServiceDesk Plus (see attached screen shot). I've tried logging the issue online but have had no response. I've seen this mentioned on the forums a few times but no solution is posted, has anyone fixed this before ? It's a real problem as it's locked out myself (the only system admin) and our front line helpdesk person.

Problems adding perofrmance monitor - Monitor not available
Hi, i tried to add performance monitors of one of our servers but unfortunately AM9 only displays a small subset of available performance objects. Is there a way to add e.g. "CALeqm Blackbox Simulator Service" by myself? Why is this object not displayed in the performance classes? Kind regards Florian Arth

We are testing netflow with Microsoft SQL 2000 and have found a few major issues: 1. We are unable to port our configuration per the procedures outline by manage engine. Has anyone had any luck doing this? 2. We also have observed that in build 7600 when you configure it for MSSQL, the netflow service will not start unless you allow the application to create the database. When opening a ticket then the wrong ticket opens (always same wrong one)
When opening a ticket that's new, when you click on the link in the list view then it always opens ticket 116 (which is closed). If the ticket was assigned, then it opens normally. Removing part of the URL that opens seems to help (stripping the query string all the way back to the ticket number). This is an issue occurring on Firefox and Chrome, but does not seem to affect IE.
Assigned to Technician notification not going to everyone
We recently upgraded to 7.6.0 Build 7602, and several technicians are reporting that they are not receiving a notification when a ticket is assigned to them. As I am receiving notifications, and have verified that this option is selected in the Notification Rules, I'm unsure what to do to correct this issue.

Need to be SDAdmin to create Custom View or View Reports
Hi, We have found that you need to have the role of SDAdmin in order to create Custom Views or view Reports. If you do not have the SDAdmin role an error will be thrown when saving the Custom View and when viewing a report. Steps (without the SDAdmin role): - Create custom view button - enter filter details - save - error Or - Reports tab - select report - error I know this is not environment specific as we have tried IE7, IE8, Safari, and Firefox on Windows and Mac machines.
8050 Issues
Hi since my upgrade to 8050 i have major issues end everytime i solve one with support i discover a new mulfunction. and support requests seem to take forever to be assigned. Right now i have issues with. 1. Business views with 400 members that cannot be edited (newly created or old ones) 2. alerts that do not clear 3. False WMI credential errors "Permission denied-Verify WMI credential" that are also not cleared 4. New bussiness view with few members that can be edited but dashboards do not
Trial set up using GPO
I have downloaded and installed an evaluation copy of ADSelfService Plus. I have confirmed it is all set up according to the instructions. The results of a gpresult on a client machine show the applied security group but does not list the 'InstallAgent.vbs'. After completing multiple reboots the program has not been installed on the client. If I run the script manually, it works perfectly. I do not want to have to handle this manually, as I have to many clients to install if done manually.

Issue - Backing up Nortel 5500 via SSH

Hi, We're running into a problem with using the purchase order module. Currently the approval email that goes out to the to "submit the PO for approval" contains a wrong url. Quick Call Log not displaying names in drop down
Hi, Perhaps this is by design, but usuing the 'log a call' feature on the main dashboard, when I type a contact name into the field, it does not automatically suggest contacts already stored in SC. It does however show accounts normally in a drop down list. Is there a reason why this isn't working? Thanks. Keith.
Forum emoticons come through in RSS feed as HUGE images
When I add an emoticon into a post not only does it require resizing within the post but when I receive the RSS feed it comes through with a massive over-sized image rather than the size it shows in the post. Can something please be done about this or at very least can you please remove the emoticons to stop us adding them? Andy

G'day All, I usually sort my requests by the "Last Updated", so that it keeps the most current problems at the top, and I can see that staff have responded etc However since upgrading to 7011, I have noticed that "Notes" trigger the field, but Replies, no longer do. Discrepency between THIS WEEK and THIS MONTH on HOME page for Requests
On the HOME page - GLOBAL VIEW - Request summary, there seems to be a discrepancy between how THIS WEEK and THIS MONTH count weeks, We have created on a clean system a batch of requests this week, Monday to Sunday, so on the THIS WEEK view I can see them all. On the THIS MONTH view some are showing in Week 4 and some are showing in Week 5. That I suggest is wrong. Can this be fixed so all the views have a week being the same please - or is there a config item I've forgotten to set somewhere? Regards,

At present we have a situation where images are being delivered over http whilst the rest of the system is being sent over https. NetFlow Analyzer build 7002
I just upgraded my install and now, none of my IP groups show any data. All of them are showing data leading up the upgrade but a blank after that. Also, probably related, I cannot add new IP groups or modify existing ones (with the exception of deleting). If I attempt to add new or modify old, when I hit 'save' it takes me to a blank screen.

Hi, When we use to add or remove a piece of software to a server asset the history tab would record these actions. Since an update (either the last 7.5 or to 7.6) it no longer does so. Hopefully I am just missing something. Thanks.
