WOL Problem
I tried deploying image through the network using the bootable media and it was working perfectly. Now I’m trying to deploy the OS using the WOL method. Unfortunately I’m facing problem, when the machine is booted and when the machine is trying to connect to get an IP and connect to the server, it will be stuck and restart the machine. I should go to client and set the server IP and sub mask then only it will connect, otherwise it will not be identified to the server. Can you please advice why I
Incorrect service monitoring
Hi, we are currently running evaluation period and we discovers few problems. For each server, OpManager by default discovers few services like POP or WEB and starts to monitor them as soon devices are added if they are present. The problem is that OpManager shows that every single server in our network has active and working well the POP, WEB and few other services on different ports. Which is not truth which is confirmed by checking those machines with Nmap. Andy idea what's the problem? Thanks,
Notification of request assignment to specific technician

This business rule is executed after a categoritation of request and assigns automatically the group and technician. Manually added software gets removed again on scan
Hi guys, This should be reproducable: Manually add/create a software package (assume this one does not get scanned automatically because this is a custom made application and is just a copy action to the file system, and not an actual setup file to install it - we indeed have vendor-specific custom made software). Schedule report won't run. I plan them but nothing happens. Nothing shows in the history and no email is received. I'm a licensed user of ADManager pro.

Hello again, If two technicians take a request at the same time, both of them can make changes on this request, but it's a little bit dangerous, cause we'll use an unecessary resource an different actions will be taken at the same time. My trial of ServiceDesk Plus expired, so I received an extension license, but I can't apply it through the GUI because of the expiration. Is there a way to apply it without the GUI, or do I need to reinstall everything?

error adjusting requesters
I've created several requesters and pointed them to the proper center in the account. So far, so good. But, when I change the properties for an existing requesters (e.g. adding a phone number) and I click 'save', the selected center has been changed to the first listed center of the account. (The department is also resetted to the first in the list). To avoid this problem we also need to change the center/department every time we adjust a property of the requester. This is happening for all our requesters.
Problem with image display since the update to version 7601

Hi, Sometimes when I hit the Reply button in a case, stays there and do nothing showing a message <table width=100% ...... See the image. Also, we have a predefined template in plain text, that should look like this.. But now, every time that I reply to a case, the predefined template is lost, loosing the spaces and in a HTML Form, not plain text.. Any ideas? I have Windows 2003 Server, and the product have the build 7603.

Service Desk Plus logs out when Desktop Central is running
Hi there, When I log in to both Service Desk Plus and Desktop Central at the same time, one or the other kicks me out and forces me to log in again each time I go back to it - even after less than a minute. I am using the same domain login for each...and am opening them in different tabs of IE. Any ideas?

Password in clear text in URL
When manually logging in to the helpdesk, the user password is exposed in clear text in the url is the address bar when the login fails. This is passed over the network, and visible on screen. This is rather insecure, as exposing passwords with minor typing errors in them give a very good clue to the correct password. ie.: "?j_username=testusername&j_password=TESTPASSWORD"

It is impossible to edit the status of the request after installation of upgrade 7603. It occurs only in Russian localisation. In the English it is edited normally.
Moving from one server to another
I have had DC installed on a server for quite some time. I now need to move it to a new physical server. I was planning to backup the database, then restore it to the new server. However, when I tried to restore it, I got an error that says "This backup file {100521-1027.zip] and the current version of the product are not compatible. Opmanager cannot monitor the server it resides on

We have a problem on a newly installed server with OpManager 8052. The server is running Windows Server 2008 R2 (which I was promised by OpManager support that it is supported running platform). Installation problem of event log analyzer 6.
I've a pc where is installed apache 2.2 and mysql 5.0.37-comunity-nt on Win xp sp3 machine. Apache use port 80 and mysql use port 3306 The installation program of event log analyzer terminate without error. Problem after SQL database restore
hello! i have 2 problems. firstly, i have error message durimg restoration, something like "cannot insert duplicate key in dbo.software", i fixed this with editing restoredata.bat (-Dsdp.restore.error.ignoretables=softwarelist). but now, i have some positions in assets->scanned software list, marked as "[Rendering Exception]", thay can't be deleted (apache error 500), and I can't do any backups now. how can i fix this problem?

Just upgraded to 7606 and now it wont load

Reports Don't Work - 7606
Hi, I have updated to version 7606 of the service desk. The upgrade took over 1 hour as the reports directory seemed to get cleared out. Now reports don't work at all, with the error message below being shown in a popup box. I have sent this and support file to the support mail address but am hoping for a quick workaround. I have problem with AD pass-through (APT) in ServiceDesk Plus 7606. here is 2 servers: SDP 7514 and SDP 7606. everything is fine with 7514, APT works fine (only one checkbox for enjoying). 7606 gives me all (domain scan, user import etc) exept APT. 5 data fields for configuration. ok. PMP service failed to start...!
Whenever I am trying to run PMP service with Domain Admin credentials, service fails to start. I have tried entering other credentials but its failing and as soon as I remove credentials and put start-up on "Local System Account" it starts working. Domain Admin credentials or other credentials which I am using are OK from every aspect. Also i suggested in my last post that please provide us any option in PMP interface to run only "Password Change Schedules" with specified Domain Admin ID(s). Please

hello! i have problem MAIL_FETCHING error Server started at : Fri May 14 11:50:11 GMT+02:00 2010. Current time is : Fri May 14 11:50:17 GMT+02:00 2010, which is less than 1 hour from server start time. Hence not checking mail checker for this time.
SLA violation e-mails not being sent
SD+ v 7.6.0 (build 7603). Fetching and sending mail from within SD (e.g. replying to a request) is working. Notification rules are set according to screenshot sla_02. I created and SLA rule (see screenshot sla_01) but nor the requestor, nor the technician, nor me receive any e-mail with the sla violation notification. How to fix/debug this? Thx! Pieter

Only the first MAC address from switch port mapper per port shows up in IP address area manager.
Hard to explain, but if I have multiple ip address's/mac address's connected to a single port on a switch (because the other end has a dumb switch, is a virtual server, etc), only the he first ip/mac listed in the switch port mapper section (the rest are listed when you click "more') will have that corresponding port listed in the ip address manager section. Does that make sense? Please advise.
Issues with AD integration on Service Desk Plus 7.6.0 Build 7602
Since upgrading to the latest version many users keep on having to login to service desk plus with the ad credentials please can you investigate this issue and resolve as this is annoying. Or another instance is that when adding a request you get kicked out of sd plus and have to log back in again.
