Statistics not available
Hi, I have an OP-Manager build 8052. I have setup the performance database as below: detailed statistics: 90 days; hourly statistics: 90 days; daily statistics: 365 days; I am monitoring a switch since more then 6 months but if i want to see any report of any interface i am able to see the data just from the last 6 days including today (example: from 6.05.2010 at 01:10 till 11.05.2010 09:43). I have tried to place other periods like last month, last 30 days, custom period, all are starting from
6509 NBar not supported
I just upgraded to Netflow Analyzer 8 (fresh install). It correctly found all my devices and used SNMP to identify them but I'm having some issues enabling NBAR. NBAR support is correctly identified on most of my NBAR capable switches and I can use the software to enable NBAR on them. I am having problems with several Cisco 6509 Switches with Sup720 and Sup720-10GE supervisors. The software says that NBAR is not available and not configured, even when I manually configure it.

lost email messages
Hi, it seems that ServiceDeskPlus lose some email messages when receiving tickets via email. We are currently using POPS from Gmail. We found no criteria that causes ServiceDeskPlus to lose messages. Most messages arrive correctly and are transformed to RIDs, but from time to time a message is simply ignored. And no, the messages are not in SPAM folder on the email server. Do you have any solution ? This causes much confusion and serious problems with customers. Looking forward for your answer. Thanks
SNMP v3 Stops Working When Device's IP Changes
The network that we have OpManager installed is fairly dynamic and the IP addresses of some of the devices change on a regular basis. A recurring problem that we are having is that when the IP address of a device changes and we update it in OpManager (and its associated entry in the local /etc/hosts file), we are no longer able to query SNMP v3 statistics from the device. We have MSSQL server monitors running on OPManager 8052. Average Lock Wait Time monitor is set to poll every 15 minutes with threshold 5120. Whenever threshold limit is reached, notification is sent to EVERY notification profile defined for the server even when "when any [selected...] MSSQL Monitors are down" Criteria is not selected for some notification profiles. Monitoring Domian Controllers
With earlyer versions of OpManager it was possible, to monitor Windows domain controllers WITHOUT the active directory add on to OpManger. Of course, one couldn't monitor active directory counters, but one could monitor ressources such as memory or disc comsumption as well as hardware failures (as long one was installing the correct MIBs). Create new Device Template Name in DeviceExpert
Hi, I am trying to add a new SysObjectID in the DeviceExpert. I click on Admin -> SysObjectID Finder. Then I put the IP address of a Juniper switch, click on "Get now". It says: SysObjectID not available in DeviceExpert database. Add SysObjectID and try device discovery. I clicked on "Add SysOID" button. A window pop-up. Unfortunately in the drop-down-menu there was not any Juniper switch. May I add a Juniper switch Device Template Name? See the attached screen-shots. Thanks, Roberto D.

Problems with configuring Multiple Thresholds
Normally the way we configure multiple thresholds is by doing it at the template level. For some reason we are not able to modify the thresholds for Windows Server 2000 and Windows Server 2003 devices as the only monitor that can be configured this way for those two types of templates is Disk Utilization, everything else (CPU Utilization, Memory Utilization and Partition details thresholds) cannot be mass configured, but have to be configured one at a time. Select a specific OID in the Device Template
Hi, I am creating a new Device template for a Juniper switch. I put the right MIB in the OpManager mibs folder. Then I created a new template for the right SystemOID. Then I associated a CPU monitor to this template. The problem is that Juniper has several sub-OIDs under the CPU OID. The wizard doesn't let me choose a specific OID but only the main leaf. Is it possible to specify the OID manually instead of choose it with the "MIB Browser"? The problem is that under the main OID I have several sub-OIDs

Hi , We had recently installed NFA professional plus ver 8 . Netflow server is up and running since last 2 days and data of Traffic average report of all devices was present yesterday . However , same is not being displayed today , it show "No data available" when we look for yesterday report. Data is being displayed for ip group .

Request creation time incorrect since DST change - Home page time correct
Running 7605 and just realised that requests are being created with time 1hr behind the current time. Time on Home page is showing correctly. Server time is showing correct and DST is set. Windows OS SQL DB What do we need to do to fix this. Kind Regards, Andy
[Device Snapshot] - Custom type encoding
Hi, When creating a custom device template, the name can contain characters as à é or è, the display is fine everywhere (well, in 2 of the 3 places I saw it) I've seen the device type except for the Device snapshot "read-only" view where the characters are displayed with a ? instead. The strange thing is that in the edit view, the drop list shows the characters correctly. It shows correctly in the Device template list too (Admin - Device Template). So there is probably a way
Problem when adding a new request template
A fix was applied by the support team last week which cured a problem with additiona lfields that had been added. However when I now try and create a brand new template, i.e. clicking on Save, the screen reports: 'Processing. Please Wait....' and simply remains like that indefinetely. Please help. Hi, I've downloaded the 30 days trial and so far I like the software. It is quite nice. However my "intranet" reports don't seem to be reporting what I would expect. I have an ASA runn 8.0 code. I am sending my syslog traffic from the inside interface. I have configured my intranet settings as Networks : Net :192.168.0.0 Mask :255.255.0.0 I set this a few hours after the firewall started sending logs, however this was a few days ago. Application Manager shows "No data available to generate graph" for windows 2003 CPU

Accidentally deleted 'Region'
I have accidentally deleted a region. As a result, my associated sites are no longer appearing. I have recreated the region however, since the sites weren't deleted, I am not able to recreate these - FAILURE :Site with same name already exists. Please provide different value for Site Name. Obviously this is because the Site name already exists in the database but is still linked with the original Region that was removed. Is there a way that I can restore the link? Thank you
Notification: run program
What we want is a notification with a sound signal, that loops until the problem is solved. To do this I wrote a script that will start a .wav file in media player. When the script is started a second time the script stops looping. With an external USB soundcard we could produce the sound. ADMP -- Can't select OU's ?
I've tried both IE8 and Firefox, I log in to ADMP, on any report i click 'select OU' (as it defaults to all OU's) I check mark the OU's i want to report on, hit ok, and it goes back to the report page and still says 'all ou's' how do i fix this ?
Extra users\computers appearing in configurations
We are having an issue where extra users or computers are getting added to some configurations. It has happened to several types of configurations (software installations, logon scripts, mapped drives). The extra users\computers are not shown in the target list, only in execution status list. Error when trying to scan subnets
If I right click on a a subnet under IP Address Manager, I get an error. Its a popup window that says "An error has occured", without any information next to tool name, message, root cause. If I click to create support file, the hour glass goes forever. Also noticed in the logs that the same device gets added and removed everyday.
How to change required fields on OPENing a request ?
I need to require that users pick category and a few other fields before they can submit a request but I can't find anywhere to set this. You can set required fields for CLOSING a request but can you not set required fields for them to open one ?
OpManager losing some daily statistics

Notification and Infrastructure View
I've severals devices under the Category Servers by example. One of them has an interface problem, so the whole 'infrastructure views' show 'Trouble'. I've got the alarm and the notification. That's Ok. Now another device in 'Servers' send a warning ( lower alarm level than Trouble ) alarm; I've got the alarm on OpManager but not the notification ! ( The trouble alarm is not clear ). What can I do to have a notification each time I've got an alarm ?
RemoveDBEntries for opmanager 8052
Good afternoon, We have a problem when we try to remove some devices. All seems ok however when we want to readd them, the systems says that the device is present into the system. We are using the RemoveDBEntries in order to remove completly the records. However from we've updated to 8052 version, we receive an error which is "opmanagerdb.portobject doesn't exist". This table doesn't exist in my database so, how can we do to change the .class file or does anybody know where we can download

Sub Accounts view is limited on Account window
On the "View Account Details", the Sub Account window is limited to show only first 110 Sub Accounts. If an account has more than 110 Sub Accounts the rest cannot be displayed on that window but must be searched as contacts. This search is not always possible because some Sub Account doesn't have any contact associated yet. A scroll bar or a "View All Sub Accounts" selection is needed.
unable to edit business views
Hi All, We are running version 8051 and are unable to edit Business Views. I have tried using the server side "MapMaker" as well but after the login, it waits on a loading screen with the status "Client Initializing". Problem in Restoring Mysql Configuración
Hi, Coz of my Ongoing problem with my present instalation , i have install new hardware with same hardware and system configuration to install a new opmanager 8025 version. i want to restore only configuración data without any performance data , i have already done backup . now i have tried to restore the data on my newmachine , it says it restore sucessfully without problem but when i try to start opmanager it stops as in the attachment file.. not sure where i went rong...help will be apriciated.
