List view CPU and Memory showing no utilization
Hello, Running Opmgr 8721. I created business views by OS. The Opmgr server has been running fine, but I checked it today and now the list view shows as the attached image. Once I restarted the Opmgr service, the list shows utilization once again. There is also 4 days of missing data now, but I did not receive an alarm from Opmanager saying it had lost connection to the database. This server monitors 500 devices and is a virtual machine running server 2003 x64 with 2GB ram and 2 vCPU's. I have

hi, We have a problem whit email. Technician reply the incident to requester. after that requester repyl the incident from outlook. service desk open e new incident. this is big problem for us. this hapen after install sdp 8.0
Replies from requester open a new ticket
Any replies from a requester (me in this case) to mails sent from SDP are opening new tickets and are not being linked to the existing request. The reply from SDP includes [Request ID: ##$RequestId##] in the subject line (which parses to the correct request ID), email commands are enabled with ## as the delimiter and @@ as the trigger for email commands. Am I going wrong somewhere, or does this need fixing?? Build 8004, MSSQL on Windows 2003.
requester list missing

syslog report problem
Hi I have problem with the syslog report. It shows empty syslog viewer show me a fan error and capture event correctly. I also add other syslog rules to be sure that my event are going to be captured but nothing happen in the report. Missing attachments
Version : 7.7.0 Build Number : 7700 Most of the times that a request is sent, the file in attachment is lost/not sent even if present in the answer stored in the "view contact conversations". This generally happens when you attach the file, then you write your answer. I think the issue is originated by the automatic draft saving feature. This bug was not present on the previous build 7607
Traffic monitors might not be associated for the Interface
Hi, I have a problem when I add one Cisco device 2800. The SNMP credential it’s OK, but the Opmanager doesn’t collect traffic interface. When I try start Real Time traffic, the software shows the message: “Traffic monitors might not be associated for the Interface. E-Mail field populated when user not email enabled
When creating a user in ADManager, the E-Mail field (on the User Profile tab) is auto populated even when the user is not email enabled (the template is configured with no email). If creating a single user, we can delete the contents from the E-Mail field. But when creating bulk users, if we delete the contents, they are automatically re-populated when the user is created. Recent Items bug
We have just upgraded SDP from 7610 to 8004 and found a change / bug. When looking at the lists of requests, on the left side there is Recent Items. If that is expanded and we click on a ticket either via the recent items or the main list, that recent items list is no longer expanded. As such we are constantly having to expand it manually. This was not the case on 7610. Since our upgrade when from 7610 to 7611 to 8000 to 8004 at the same time, I can't tell you which upgrade level made that change.

Modifying user from an inactive user report not working after update to 5010
Have updated to 5010. I run an inactive user report. When I try to modify a user in the list and click update user, I get a blank white page. The AD info isn't updated.

Back ground We were running through installing an SSL cert on our ADSSP installation. We used Thawte Certs. We had some issues with the JVM locking up this appears to have been due to Thawte. SDP 8002: the window is closed

Not-Auth in requestlist for requesters
When a non technician (so a normal requester) opens the list of his requests, some requests have for some fields a "Non-auth" content. For example the field status. So most of the of the fields of the requests are normal viewable, but some requests have this Not-Auth, even when this field has the property : "Requester can view" in the request template. Is this solvable with an update because on 1 dec. we are opening the selfserviceportal for users. I wanted to add a screenshot, but this doesn't work
Networks Map
Hi We are unable to draw network maps from either our core HP 8212 switch or our office HP 5412. I am able to monitor interfaces on those switches, but when trying to draw a network map we only see the switch in our office, and if we select the core switch as our seed device we only see the switch, one of the 10Gb links to our Blades and the wireless controller that is in the chassis. Larger WMI query for MSSQL monitors
We upgraded OpManager from build 8024 to 8052 one week ago. After this Service Pack and Hotfix, we have had several of our MSSQL servers false report that SQL Agent and MSSQL services are down. After searching the event logs on these servers, we have found that the WMI service has crashed and recovered at about the same time that the false reports come through via email notification. Discovery - Devices in the specified range are not active
Hi All, I am using a fresh install of OpManager 8 on Linux (eval) to prove the OpManager concept. I can manually add in devices, which is great - however - auto discovery fails on any attempt to scan our /19 subnet either by range or CIDR. The error is:- "Devices in the specified range are not active" There are around 100 servers in the range specified with SNMP enabled. Any ideas why this isnt working?

Exchange Cluster Problems
We have been having some problems with our Exchange Clusters lately. Last week we were not able to get data from the Free Disk Space Performance Monitors (our TLogs disk ended up filling and we were not alerted!). Over the weekend we moved the cluster to the other node (2 node cluster) and can now get Free Disk Space data. However, now all MSExchange Monitors are not updating. Minor Bug?
Hi everyone, I'm not even sure if I'd call this bug but I noticed something in op manager today. We were monitoring a Cisco PIX, and today it was replaced by a Cisco 881 router. The IP and SNMP information are still the same. I had Op Manager rediscover the device and everything looks ok except under "System Description". It still shows the PIX information in there and there's no way to clear it. It's not a big deal to me since the device type and everything is correct. The monitoring isn't affected

Hi, We are using Servicedesk plus (7100) The problem we are facing is the following : after a while, some scheduled reports (from network monitoring) are corrupt. Daily a report as pdf attachment is generated, and send by mail. These pdf's are coppupted after a week of two weeks. When opening the list of generated reports, opening the report results in the same corrupt file. I assume something went wrong while writing the pdf? Upgrade to 8.000 has gone horribly wrong.
Tonight I attempted to upgrade our ServiceDesk 7.605 server to 8.002. We use a separate SQL Server for the backend. I was able to successfully upgrade to 7.611, as instructed, but when I ran the upgrade to 8.0 it failed at around 98%. I am now unable to start the database...I can't re-run the PPM (it says it is not compatible). Basically I am stuck. I put in a call about an hour and a half ago. I ran full backups before the upgrade. It is 10:30 p.m. right now, and I have no ServiceDesk app for
NetFlow Analyzer stops collectiong data
Hi, we have NetFlow Anlayzer in the Free Version (only 2 interfaces) running for over 1 year. Without any changes we ran into problems, that Analyzer stops collecting data and stops drawing graphes. A restart of the service, and sometimes a restart of mysql was needed, but only a few hours later, it stopped again. Assigning Assets to a workstation does not work properly within a particular Asset
We discovered that in SDP 7.6 (Build 7611) there is still an issue that has been there since 7.0: When you are in the Edit-view of an asset and make an assignment (In use...) to a Workstation, the "Associated to" Name & Department are not properly saved! The workaround is, to make the assignment of an assets to a workstation (In use...) in the Asset overview list. But this takes more time to get to for every asset. Good Day My company requires a tool to analyze our bandwidth usage. I have tried out ManageEngine NetFlow Analyser and it seems to have most of the reporting capability we need. Disappearing Asset information
We are currently using ServiceDesk Plus 7.605. When we dispose of computer assets, we mark them as disposed, and move them to a Non-IT asset category (example: HP Desktop - Discarded). We do this so that ServiceDesk does not try to scan those assets, and for better organization. When we move the records, we use the "MODIFY TYPE" feature. Odering of lists is not case insensitive.
Gday, in a lot of drop down lists etc the list of items is not logical. eg if there are items, Alpha alpha and Beta. Then the list displays: Alpha Beta alpha When it should be: Alpha alpha Beta The reason this becomes an issue is because we have a few companies whose names are specifically in lower case, so they get put to the bottom of the Account list, for example. SD Version 8, notification rules issue, reply from the requester.
Hi, we updated from version 7 to verion 8 latest build and since that change we are experiencing an issue with one of the notification rules: "Alert(or Notify) technician by e-mail when there is a new reply from the requester." The email is sent out to the technician correctly, so that acutally works, its just that the content is not correct. The actual reply message is not displayed in that automated email. The only thing which we can see is the original message (request/incident) but not the reply
