Timezone issues
Hello, I've done as suggested in another topic but the issue still persists. My time zone is portuguese (same as london). Below are the results of both operations. As far as i can tell the time zone is only wrong at the display of tickets creation date as in the reports and at the top right corner the dates show ok. Any ideas on how it can be solved? Authentication keys are not being saved to the technician.
To use the REST API calls SDP requires you to generate an authentication key for the technician. At this point I would have expected that any administrator would be able to do this, but NO you have to use the built-in administrator account. Why??? However once logged in as the local administrator, generating the authentication key is not a problem, saving the generated key is a different matter! The change appears to be saved but if you return to the technician there is no key.

Daylight Saving changes not reflected in OpManager
On weekend there was a daylight saving change that moved time forward one hour in Sydney, Australia. The time showing in OpManager for 'real time' on all servers is displaying 1 hour behind. The time on all servers is correct. As a result scheduled downtime is not blocking alarms from server reboots and other alerts are being sent during the day but showing time of incident as one hour earlier . How can this be rectified? Application deploy fails (Desktop Central MSP)
Hi, When we try to install an application, for example Adobe Reader 9, if there is installed Adobe Reader X oin the destination computer, Desktop central warns that it's retrying the operation all the time and it doesn't install the requested program. I mean that if you try to install a program that is lower version than the other installed, the message is that is retrying and it warns an error with 12010 number code. I hope you can help us! Netflow analyser 9 pro, Received alerts dont match the traffic graphs.
Hi Guys We are having a problem with our alerts on Netflow Analyser, if for example I configure an alert to tell me when a link exceeds 95% utilisation - 15 times - in 15 minutes. I receive an alert that says the link is running at 97% so I go to the graphs to check whats happening; and i see on the link in question from the graph and metrics that the link is running at 93% utilisation and reviewing over the hour or 30mins of even the last 15mins shows the link didnt exceed 95% utilisation. any ideas?
Real time traffic widget graph
Dear Team, I came across this unusual behavior on Real Time Traffic widget that displays interface traffic on my routers (in bps). The graph would sometimes show surge in traffic beyond my maximum bandwidth limit - sometimes it would show x200%. I am monitoring 8 interfaces and they would all show this behavior at the same period in time. Doing some investigation by going to each device's monitored interface in the interface's traffic report shows differently - no indication of the surge. How can
Email Requests don't populate Request Template Defaults
Hi SC I have checked all of my Notification and Business rules and can not see anything that would blank out the rules set. This has only been an issue since we updated to 7902 a few weeks back. If you do an Add Request the defaults come through, from a customer Email these do not. Cheers Rich
Customize Interface monitoring?
I would like to be able to generate an alarm when an interface goes active and the alarm clear when the interface is shutdown. I've not figured out how to reverse the "normal" alarm setting for interfaces, is this possible in OpManager? This is becoming a real problem as when combined with my escalation alarms, when I bring an interface up to test DR circuit and then shut it back down, it starts generating interface down alarms every 5 minutes (as it should for an interface that is not supposed

time entry descriptions have lost line breaks since update to 7902
We have just upgraded from 7704 to 7902, since the update the desciption field under time entries seem to have lost its ability to display line breaks. When adding or editing the notes everything looks fine, however when displayed in the call all line breaks are removed. Pictures attached.
Unable to show a popup/progress bar during software deployment
Hi, I'm currently evaluating Desktop Central 7 and mostly its working perfectly. However as all the installations run silent by default, I was trying to add either a vbs script which provides a popup at the start and the end of the installation or by changing the installation method by altering the arguments passed to the msi file. When I do this, a popup does come through but it is somewhat broken. (see attached) I've tested this on multiple computers (different types) on windows xp sp3 neither

Service restart automatically - java maxiumum
Hello, I have a big problem. When I start the service "ManageEngine Service Desk" java is up to the maximum performance of cpu and ram and the service restart automatically. I tried doing the restore on another server windows, but the situation is the same, the service manageengine start and java goes up (50% cpu 700 MB ram) for 5 minutes and then restart the service, this continuously. I tried to restore the full backup that is trimmed back but nothing. OS: windows xp sp3 servicedesk build 8017
Google Map View Issue
Hello, In Google Map View tab, map doesn't fit to browser size verticaly it's fixed to 550px. Second thing is that horizontaly it's resizing well from 875px less width of browser result in scrolling appearing scroll bar.

Monitor a shared AS400 folder
Hi, do you know if there is any chance to monitor an AS400 shared folder with the "File monitor" feature? I mapped an AS400 shared folder on a Windows 2003 server. I added this server to OpManager. I would like to monitor if a particular file is present or not. Unfortunately the software is not able to monitor it and it says: File does not exist. Could you help me? Thanks

Hi, I'm having trouble with Opmanager. When I try to add new device on any "Business View Map" nothing happens. I couldn't find any messages errors in the logs. The OpManager version is 8 and is been used MSSQL 2005 on back-end. Can I run a repairdb utility with MSSQL 2005? Hi, We are in a need to do an automated backup of Firewall Analyzer on a daily basis. This process needs to be run at mid-night and would be completely unattended. Distribution Server
We have today just reinstalled our Distribution Servers on our Remote Offices so that they are installed onto the D:\ however we're having the following issue now : Replication does not seem to be working on any of the servers so the repositories are not populating. The main server continues to download the patch/software package but this isn't being replicated out. Any reason why this would happen when simply reinstalling the Distribution Server Service to the D:\? Thanks Matt

Hi, Yesterday we created a new software deployment packet. After, we tried to deploy this software but we had a problem: The packet in question is the program LaboDis. As soon as it is deployed, when we execute this program in PC, it has to find a msi packet in this path (C:\Program Files\DesktopCentral_Agent\swrepository\1\swuploads) and we have seen that it's removed, so the program cannot execute. It seems that the deployment is well done but then it erase the packet wich is necesary to execute
Wrong credentials used with SNMPv3
Using OpManager 8.0 build 8812. The credential library seems to use the wrong set of credentials when multiple SNMPv3 credentials have the same username. For example, I can create a SNMPv3 account with username user1, authentication of pass1, and a second account with username user1, authentication of pass2, then assign these two accounts to two different devices. Communication with the first device is successful, the second device fails as OpManage wrongly uses credentials from the first account
Desktop Central Power Management Deploying But Not Working on local PC
Hello Forum, I seem to be having quite a hard time with the Power Management option in Desktop Central. I'm able to make a new configuration and load the correct settings that I wish to deploy to all our workstations but once the profile is deployed to the workstation it doesn’t work. I'm able to see the power profile under Windows 7 fine and edit the settings etc...... But it will not work. Am I doing something wrong here is there some Administrator setting I’m missing??? Any help on this

Cannot See Change Implementation or Problem Task Details
For the last few days I've been experiencing issues when trying to browse to the 'Implementation' tab of changes or to the 'Tasks' tab of problems. Basically, I get a blank page where the details should be whilst the outer frames are intact. This is not specific to one PC and it doesn't even matter who is logged into the PC, as soon as I login to SD+ I see the same issue. If somebody else then logs into SD+ with their credentials, from the same PC/logged in user all is ok. Therefore, my conclusion

Patch Error
Issues with PatchID 90000 - patch will fail and the Remarks state that there was a "Problem while downloading the patch from the server". If I manually download this patch from the Microsoft website (kb890830) and then re-scan the system, Desktop Central reports that the system is up to date.

Resolution not saving when closing call in FireFox.
I'm running ServiceDesk Plus 8.0.0 Build 8013. It appears that when you close a case and input the resolution, when you click save, the resolution blanks itself and then when the closure email goes out blank due to the resolution being cleared. It seems to only happen in FireFox. IE seems to work fine but I've never had the issue in FireFox before. Curious if someone else is having is having this issue or if maybe its a new bug in this current build?

MySql DB Table Corruption

Problem with feeding custom data for computers
Hi, Yesterday, I inserted custom data for computers with "Feed custom data for computers" tool, but today, I have saw that it didn't change in all the computers. Now, I have done the same and now it's all right. It is possible that the problem were the turned off computers. Shouldn't update this information when the computers are going to turned on? Or when we work with "Feed custom data for computers" does it only works with computers that are turned on? Regards,
