Hi, I configured desktop central integration with servicedesk 8 to send IT asset data, everything is configured correctly but nothing is being sent to servicedesk. I have latest version of the two softwares.
Error while installing manage engine desktop central 8
Hi.. I am trying to install manage engine desktop central 8 on my work PC. But after accepting the license agreement and continuing with the default port it gives me an error as follows, Component : sourceComponent file group : sourceFiles file: cannot create a file when that file already exists this error comes when the setup is at 2% and the path shown is c:\...\setup.inx after which the setup stops. any solution ???
Unaccounted for source and destinations below 2 hours
Hi, we have netflow proffessional 9.0 but as soon as we upgraded the capability to see the data less than 2 hours is lost.everything comes as unaccounted. if we increase the window more than 2 hours then it shows the data. is this a bug?
Netflow Pro 9.1 Service will not automatically start
Our installation of Netflow Pro 9.1 won't start automatically after a server reload. We have to go into task manager, kill the 'mysql-nt.exe' process, then go into 'Services' and manually start the application. Any idea what's going on here? Thank you, Ron
Un-able to modify "Category" field for existing Scheduled Requests
When I try to modify the "Category" field for an existing scheduled request I cannot select anything. Also the field doesn't display the category that had been set. When the scheduled request runs it does fill in the category. If I create a new scheduled request I can set the "Category" field. Can you please help with this issue? Best regards, Allistair PS. Polling of CBQos-Data stoppes frequently
I am polling several Cisco Devices for CBQos-Data. It is working a couple of hours wihtout any trouble but stoppes frequently. When i go to the Interfaceconfiguration of the CBQos polling and submit the actual polling config again it will start again. Currently I am using the Netflow Analyzer 9.6 Demo.
File Size Monitor stating file does not exist
I am relatively new to OpManager, so please bear with me. I am attempting to monitor the size of the security log file for our servers. I ensured the WMI credentials were correct and that the path was correct, but upon testing the monitor I am told that the file does not exist. Keyboard navigation affected after upgrade to 8.1?
After the upgrade to 8109 (from 8017) we lost some functionality using the keyboard as a shortcut to pick items in pick list drop down boxes. Specifically, from the Requests tab, we can no longer use the keyboard (up/down or first letter of an item) to move around the View Filter list (where you have things like My Groups & Requests) . Last Update Time field ignores emails
If emails flow in or out of a ticket, the Last Update field does not reflect the activity. Specifically, these emails would be between Techs, not to/from the Requester (if that makes any difference). I saw another forum post that would seem to indicate that emails involving the Requester would in fact update Last Update field, but I can't speak to that at the moment. Remove the icon (picture BMP) from the GINA customisation
Hi there, How can I remove the icon (picture BMP) from the GINA customisation? Essentially we would like to revert back to the option for ADSelfService GINA pluggin just being the worded (Reset Password / Unlock Account) link. Default request template - uses incorrect 'Level'
Hi Within our default request template, we have created some new 'Levels', and set one of them to be the default within this template. When creating a new request from the 'Add New...' menu, all the values are as they should be. When we receive a request in via email however, the default value we set for 'Level' isn't used (all the other values are as they should be). Any ideas / known issues? Cheers, James
Display Name and DNS Name don't match
I'm still trying to get this to sync up. I had an issue where the Display Name would not update if an IP address of a device changed on a box so I switched so it would search by display name and the IP address could change for each device but it's all a little kludgy. There ought to be a way to get both a) the IP address of a DNS name to update when that IP changes on a particular machine and b) the DNS name to change the display name if a particular host is renamed. Insufficient privilleges when logging into SD+
HI, I am using the latest version of SD+. AD integrated, users imported. I have problems with users logging in the portal. When users log in they see the message "User does not have sufficient privvileges" What is strange that after you close that message, you can continue normally. I assured the user have the needed permissions. Is this some kind of bug? If anyone has come upon this message, please let me know. Regards, Dimitar

I have an issue with opmanager rounding values i am grabbing rPDU total load which needs to be divided by 10 to put in amps but opmanager drops the decimal value. 28/10 =2.8(.1.3.6.1.4.1.318.1.1.12.2.3.1.1.2.1)/10 =2 i need this fixed asap Thanks, Stephen
ServiceDesk changing Workstation Name to IP address
Since upgrading to 8.103, ServiceDesk is changing Workstation Names to IP addresses. I checked DNS, and everything looks good there. If I run a manual scan against the workstation, it changes back to the name. Has anyone else had this happen?

Reset next poll time?
We have an issue where someone set the system clock on our server to 2013 which now has all of our monitors set to next poll a year from now. We've tried unmanaging/remanaging the monitor, triggering a manual poll, nothing seems to reset the last/next poll time back to current year. Is there a way to reset the next poll time for all monitors?
OpManager CPU Utilization always at 100%
OpManager shows the CPU utilization of many servers at 100%. When on the actual server they are much lower than that and it needs to be fixed. Thanks.
OpManager - Widget/Dashboard faults
Unable to see "core routers, switches, routers etc" in the Infrastructure snapshot on the Home, Overview dashboard. When i click edit It shows them in there but fails to display in the actual overview. Tried to add a new Widget and get the error "Error Type: LoadXLM, Description: Incorrect XML" when i click ok, the error goes away but i can't add any widgets.
Google Chrome
I have encountered an issue when editing the service catalog and trying to edit the fields where when I use Chrome it won't allow me to edit any text box fields. But if I switch over to Internet Explorer I have no problem. This only seems to be an issue in the service catalog area as I can use Chrome to create new incidents when they come in without any issues. Thanks,
Installing DC clients over multiple Samba Domains
Hi, I'm managing about 16 remote sites each with around 10 - 30 client PC's on each. The domain controller is linux based and I don't have any windows servers available to host a Distribution server, so I'm using the 'Direct Communication' method.. Which is fine. I can install the agents fine and everything works well. My problem is that we are constantly adding and removing new and old machines to these various domains. Exporting to csv does not give full log ?
Hi, i am trying to export a log to csv file for review, the log contains approx 431K lines of debug. When i try to export this to a csv it only show 20k lines of log. Patch Status Mis Reporting
Hi we're running DC Build 80029 and finding that it is reporting all local and remote clients as healthy, which would be fine if it were the case!!. We run ESET Anti Virus which gives an indication of endpoint security status by changing the system tray icon colour progressively between 'green' for maximum protection, and 'red' for danger. Multiple clients are showing orange, which indicates several Windows updates are missing.Of the clients showing orange, ESET identifies around 35 missing updates,
Flash Player not list in the installed applications at the system details
Hi, I installed Flash Player 11.3.300.265 ActiveX as a msi-Datei on the clients successfull. In the Patchmanagement on the "system details" under "application" is the Flash player not list under the "Non Microsoft Products". The older Flash version are always listed. So I think Desktop Central don't recognizes flash. Updating patch status or a reboot from the client don't help. Is this problem known? Have other this probelm? Thanks for help. RH
OpManager Error 12029
Hi, We are using Opmanager to monitor WAN activity in real-time, and for that we set up a monitor in the communications department. The thing is, that after a while, Opmanager will start showing this error message: 12029: Unknown We have to clear that error window in order to keep seeing the real-time graphs, but since the browser is opened on a dedicated computer, directly connected to the monitor, this is not acceptable. Any ideas why this error happens? and more importantly how to fix
Printer Notifaction Question
We are doing an eval of OpManager and ran into this issue. We imported about 140 networked printers and we were going to setup a notification profile for them by using the wizard so we could do them all at the same time but it seems that option to trigger the notification "when any [selected] Print Monitor is down" is not available when trying to apply to multiple printers at once. Changing CI Type results in Device type changing
Using 8.1 Patch 7 SQL 2008 database I created 3 new CI types under Printer of Inkjet, Laser and Thermal. On CMDB view I then viewed the printers and selected out groups of them , by ticking the device and modified the CI type from Printer ( default ) to the appropriate Sub Type created, by using the ACTION button and choosing Modify CI type. The CI types changed as expected. What I have now noticed a week or so later is that the Device type has changed as well. I think it changed to the type
Annoying startup issue with 8109 after upgrade
Just upgraded to Build 8109 from 8027 (via 8100), and now using MSSQL 2008. I have noticed that when starting up the SD service that Internet Explorer loads up before the service has finished starting and of course cannot display the SD homepage at that point. Also then the service gets to “Application Layer Started” and doesn’t actually close until you quit Internet Explorer. Just infinite dots.................................... Cannot set primary keys (sql db monitor) after update to 10.6
Hi everyone. I've experienced problems on setting primary keys in a new db sql monitor after updating ME Applications Manager from 10.2 to 10.6. The error message is: "Unable to find the primay key for openquery(PRODEONE|'SELECT. To show the query output alteast one primary key has to be selected.To select a primary key click the "Primary Keys" link in the top of the openquery(PRODEONE|'SELECT table displayed." Unlike version 10.2, the new 10.6 doesn't display result table when that error occurs
cannot download screen recorded file

We're using canned responses, and, in the sent mail, where getting question marks in the special characters on the subject: Example: Re: [ID ##7##] : Servi?os de Forma??o - Proposta de Fornecimento It should be: Re: [ID ##7##] : Serviços de Formação - Proposta de Fornecimento However, in the main text, everythings ok. No Data Found?
I have EventLog Analyzer installed for evaluation on a Windows Server 2008 R2 box and have added some hosts. Everything works properly since today, now when I try to check the errors or warnign logs for soime host (Linux or windows it's indifferrent) I receive the pop-out window says "No Data Found" (if Ichange the timeframe to yestarday I can see some data). New OPM Rule engine problem
new discovery rule engine is interesting feature. For test decided to add several devices to OPM. And rule was 'if new device is server, add to the business view serverView 3'. There were 4 servers. Yes. Those servers added to business view 'serverView 3' correctly. And this is the problem. Server's icon and names got placed over and over. If there were about 25 servers... it might get really ugly to rearrange. I was expecting something like this. Tidy, ready to go.
Configuration backup scripts
We need to get backup scripts to export and import all of our configurations rather than having to manually validate that all changes made in one environment have been applied to another. We currently maintain 'sandbox/development', testing/training, and production environments to enable learning how the system works with various configuration settings, then loading those into testing/training environment to validate results then train our staff, and finally into production.
Unable to start NetFlow collector
I have successfully installed the NetFlow Central Reporting Server and installed the NetFlow Collector on a seperate server. When I login to the NetFlow Collector server and try to start the application using the Collector Server, nothing happens. Hi opManager Team! Please be advised that passwords may not work in IE8??? I was not able to login properly, but with the back function of Internet Explorer (that means back to the cached opman pages before the update) I managed to change the password to something simple like 12345. cannot add HP Procurve switch
Hi, We are using Opmanager 9 with Windows 2008R2, so far we have added number of routers and servers without any issue. Now when I am trying to add HP Procurve switch, it say device successfully added but I can't find the device I tried all the possible ways to added but in vain. I have many times verified my SNMPv3 credentials, even with the snmp tester from the Opmanager server and snmp tester successfully test snmp to the switch. Please help to resolve the issue.
