Problem with Client Mac
I have Destkop Central Build No:80234. When I install a client Mac, I'm all steps and it´s shows the mac has been installed correctly but in the SOM, never appears in the inventory. The Mac computer has no proxy or firewall. Where are the logs on the Mac to see the problem? Thanks
Problem with deploying on Win7/8 configuration. Access denied
Hello, I have problem with deploying configuration on Hosts with Win7 and Win8 OS. Configuration deployed ok on Host with Win XP but all new hosts with W7 and W8 has error Access denied. GPO are the same on all hosts so creditional are the same. I really dont know what is the problem... I saw in forum history that can be problem in WMI and open ports on Win7. Hello, If I send a notification from a Change (General -tab), the target person will get the mail with an URL -path. For some reason it's not a link, but you can copy it to browser address. The problem is that when a reqular user browses to that URL and logs into SDP, the page is blank. Same thing if the user is a CAB Member. SNMP traps not regognized
Hello Im using free 10 device edition of Opmanager 10 I made fresh install. Earlier I was using version 9 and SNMP traps worked fine. I put mib files to mibs folder. Also in Trap processors add new trap processor from that mib. hour based contracts
Hello, I have an hour based contract for an account. If i change the hours purchased, the hours remaining does not update to reflect that new hours have been purchased. Scanned workstations not getting reconciled
Hi - It appears that workstations are no longer automatically being reconciled when scanned. Our procedure thus far has been to enter the Service Tag for the asset created by the PO. When a workstation with that Service Tag is scanned, the machines were automatically reconciled, but this does not happen now. Is this a known issue or did something else change? Thanks!

Asset and import problems
I am trying to import assets to SDP. And having a diffucult time with it. Hopefully you can help with some of the issues that have come up in first steps: 1. I would like to change the delimiter in CSV import. E.g. from "," to ";". 2. incompatibility with characters like "ä, ö, å" as SDP freaks. 3. Service Catalog Template requester view
I find it troubling that the "Requester View" within Service Catalog Template creating, does not in fact show you exactly what the requester's view is. One thing for example is the fact that if you add "Resource Info" to the template (questions that will be available and viewable to the requester) do not show up at all in the "Requester View" tab. Hi, We purchased new kyocera printers type TASKalfa 3050 ci, TASKalfa 3500 i, FS-C2526 MFP, FS-3540 MFP, FS-4200DN and FS-2100DN. Unable to use ServiceDesk+ iPhone App after 8127 update

Wrong HP warranty after Product code is entered and a warranty scan was initiated
Hi, following issues occured today in Desktop Central (Build 80234): Today a have put in some product codes for some of our HP machines to get the warranty from HP imported. Most of the machines now show the correct warranty expiring date but some machines show a wrong date. When i check the warranty for those machines directly with HP's Warranty Check Website the date is displayed correct, but Dekstop Central is getting a wrong date by the scan. How can this appear? Inventory Summary Never Completes
Recently (before upgrading to the latest build), the inventory summary generation hangs on "Summary generation in progress..." I don't know if this is a related issue or not, but we recently deployed a new version of commercial software (new version number and updated name) but Desktop Central does not recognize the new software on all the systems, only a select few. It still shows the systems having the old version and name-even after scanning the systems individually.

Unable to add Custom Group in "User Collection"
Hi, I just evaluated Desktop Central, and I find it very helpful. But I do have issues when trying to deploy configurations/templates under the "User Collection". Issues with version 8.2 Build 8200
I have just updated to version 8.2 (Was on 8.0) and have noticed a few issues. 1) When a technician replies to an incident, it occasionally gets marked as Private, so the email is never sent to the Requester. This is a business killer. We are waiting for more info on issues from the requester, but they will never provide them as they have not received the email asking for it. 2) In the requesters view, when they view 'My Pending Requests', the Due By column is now visible. Reques Catalog not working on Firefox 20
Hello, If I open Self Service Portal or the Admin Portal with Firefox (v. 20) and click Regues Catalog -button to open the Template Catagories, I can't select any of the objects. It's as if they static images and not links at all. Works OK with IE though. Also the Template menu works if I just "hover" the mousu on the Request Catalog -button but do not click it open. - lakend
Issues customizing Service Catalog Templates
I'm having serious issue with the customization in Service Catalog Templates, specifically regarding Field Properties (i.e. Requester Can Set, Requester Can View). We have tried updating to build 8200 in our test environment and it has failed twice with the same error, see below. Menus Removed after Opmanager Upgrade
Hi, We're applied a service pack to upgrade Opmanger 8 to version 8810, (as we plan to upgrade to version 10) and I notice since applying the Service pack for Version 8 It has removed the menu, What happended? Solutions should be sortable (in Insert Solution view)
Per req ID 6831108: there is no way to sort solutions alphabetically or another way (sort by ID is the default and cannot be changed). I know I can sort in the Solutions view, but that does not help my users. Alphabetic sort should be the default sort or you should allow users to sort by Solution Title.

Scheduling Quarterly Reports to ONLY send at the end of each quarter
Hi, I've been scheduling some quarterly reports, and would like them to be sent only at the end of each quarter (i.e. April 1st is the day after Q1, July 1st, is the day after Q2, etc). However, when you check off only a select few months to receive a scheduled report, the "Every Month" check box gets checked; therefore, quarterly reports are send every month, instead of every 3 months. Conversation override when merging tickets
Hi, I just noticed that when merging two tickets, one ticket's conversation overrides the other. Specifically when merging ticket 2 to ticket 1, ticket 2's conversation remains but ticket 1's conversation is deleted. Please correct this issue so that both conversations are kept intact when merging tickets. Jeff

New theme (build 80234) is awful
Good day I know it's probably pointless to say this but the new theme which was released with build 80234 is just awful. It looks very bulky and cheap in my opinion. On a more professional note: it does not seem to display properly in Firefox even though the local cache etc. was cleared. As an example, if I move my mouse inbetween the icons on the Admin tab (e.g. Scope of Management, Agent settings etc.), the icons next to the mouse start to "move". Message window does not close until 30 sekuner after the message is sent ?
Hi, I have this problem that when you want to reply to, or forward a message, it will take 30 seconds before the window closes? To fix this problem, I tried to upgrade from 8.2.0.0 to 8.2.0.2, with the result that the update failed. After a backup restore back to 8.2.0.0 I manage to upgrade to 8.2.0.2, but the issue where it takes the window 30 seconds to close after the message is sent, is still there, and it's an annoying issue for our technicians. Is there at fix ?

After installing fix 80234 in IE in DC login page there is still message New Hotfix Available
I install new hotfix ver 80234. After installation i restart server with DC. Server is up with DC and work fine. When i log in DC i see that i am in version 80234. But pain in my eye is that message in IE when i try to log in from workstations New hot fix is Available. I clean IE cach and temp files but message is still here. Any idea?
