Error when update servicedesk 8027 to 8100
Hi, I'm trying to update ServiceDesk from version 8027 to 8100. In the process, in the process, an error has occurred: Migration has not started as Data is Improper. Netflow Analyzer 9.7 - Homepage - Without Internet Access
I am experiencing a problem since upgrading to NFA 9.7 from version 7. Netflow Analyzer runs on a secure network and is accessed by client PCs that do not have internet access. When I try and access the URL for the home page http://10.10.10.1:8080 I am able to login but the Dashboard page will not display. The browser continually reports that it is trying to connect to maps.google.com. This browser (firefox) is configured without a proxy and has no internet access so the connection to google

Unable to post a new ticket
Hi, I am suddenly unable to post a request after having done so for many months, all my technicians can but not me so can anyone shine some light? I have 2 machines with the same issue both running Windows 8 Pro and Internet Explorer 10, I have set IE10 to compatibility mode and removed my antivirus software (Kaspersky Internet Security) but still cant send a ticket, please help! No mouse or keyboard in Hyper-V with OS Deployer
I am trying to capture an image of a VM in Hyper-V, but when the "Master Image Creation Wizard" starts the mouse and keyboard do not respond and I cannot start the wizard. I think it might be driver issue, but I don't know how to fix it. Can anyone assist?
Gina .jsp error
I've tried searching but so far haven't found anything relating to this. when I try to push the GINA out to a new pc the page returns "Exception in:/jsp/configuration/GinaComponents.jsp] null" and if I try to use the button form any computer it was previously installed on I get a blank white page. has anyone else encountered this?
Url Monitoring not working after upgrading to v 10100 from 9010
After upgrading to v 10100 our url monitors are not working. Specifically we're testing the results of a page for a key word "active" Currently the page is not returing the key word active, yet OpManager is still showing the URL as up and Ok. When I click the link "check url" in the monitor properties the spinning circle continues indefinitely. Is this a known issue?
iPads no longer get "App Catalog" app after enrollment process

Blank Product Type
Hello, We are currently on ServiceDesk Plus version 8.0.0.0 Build 8208. In the product type tab, at the top there is an entry without a product name. I am unable to delete it, it gives the following error message "FAILURE :Product Type is being used by a module. Hence cannot delete it." Also I cannnot edit it, it just hangs at the "loading please wait..." pop up. I have tried to find where the dependancy is, in Products and Vendors but I cannot find where else it shows up. Work log in 8208 : Description does not wrap around a fixed width table
Hi All, While the 8208 release for SDPlus has resolved the work log issue, I noticed that long work log Descriptions don't wrap around a fixed width. Instead, they can extend across the page infinitely. In order to read, you will have to scroll across the page. I can guess that the Work Log tables are not set to a fixed width, which if it was, would force the description to go onto a new line regardless of whether a new line (enter) was used or not.
Every inventory scan fails since Build No:80251
Hi DesktopCentral-Team, this weekend we implemented the 80251 hotfix. Everything seems ok, the agents have updated correctly. But since then, 900 of 950 inventory scans are failing at various clients: xp, win7, 2003, 2008 etc. We tried to uninstall and re-install the client, what worked perfectly. But with no impovement at inventory scanning. Patch scanning works well, so does software deployment. What additional information can be helpful? Or are there already any ideas? Thank you very much! ResetADSSPPassword.bat isn't working
Hey guys, For some reason our adself service admin password isn't what it's meant to be *mutter mutter* and we don't have any idea what it is. So we have to reset it. Looked in the fourms and was suggested i use the ResetADSSPPassword.bat. I have tried running this while the service was running and while it wasn't running with no luck. Cannot assign technician as a requester
Our ServiceDesk has suddenly stopped allowing calls to be assigned to requesters who are also technicians. This has been working fine for months, but earlier this week the names are not appearing when you type the surname in the requester name field. We are running an older version 8125 (too afraid to upgrade in case we break something!). Is this a known bug fixed in a newer version? Any ideas? Many thanks, Mike

New false positive for patch 7753 (MS09-060) Outlook 2003 security update
This morning I'm seeing a whole bunch of hosts (supposedly) missing patch 7753 (MS09-060), a security update for MS Outlook 2003 (KB973705). Only problem is, the machines are running MS Office 2010. On one machine, I tried manually installing the patch, and I was informed the prerequisite software isn't installed -- which I kind of figured. Are you getting other reports of this issue? I'm on the latest available release of Desktop Central and I've just refreshed my patch database a half hour
Upgrading from 8.0.0.27 to 8.1 error: Data is Improper
Error reads: Migration is not started as Data is Improper. Some of the Products [MS Vista Business SP1] are configured without Product Type, please contact.....bhah blah blah. I've tried changing the Product Type to something else but the error persists. I cannot even delete it because it tells me Workstations reference it even though I can find no such reference.

I'm upgrading OpManager to the 9410 build, it went fine. Upgrading NFA Plug in from 9000 to 9700 using "ManageEngine_OPManager_NetFlow_PlugIn_9_0_0_SP-2_0.ppm" generates a "The file that you have specified is not compatible with this product" error. I'm running the UpdateManager.bat" from the \netflow\bin\ folder as administrator. Any ideas???
Regular expression in log monitor is unpredictable
I try to use regular expression in log monitor, keep appending text that hit that patten in the log file and update status, however 1. The first alert can be triggered after several "keep appending text that hit that patten in the log file and update status" 2. AppManager won't start
After a reboot over the weekend to install windows patches, Applications Manager will not start. I can't see anything in the log files, and subsequent attempt to start the screen has stuck at "Initializing Server". Event log contains multiple entries from "Interactive Service detection stating "As device or application has requested attention. Build 8207 slow
Ever since upgrading to build 8207 from 8202 we have noticed that SDP is very slow to load pages from time to time. The page itself does not matter and all technicians have reported it. We have the same issue with IE9, IE10 and Chrome. I have not had any users report it, but I have not asked them either. As an example, I could close a ticket and click on the Requests tab to bring my list back up and it might open instantly or take 20-30 seconds. The view does not matter...it could need to load
Slowness while logging via domain account
I am having a problem accessing servicedesk via domain account. it takes long time to log in. however when I logged in using local account, it goes fast. nothing was changed in active directory and everything was perfect but last week we started encountering this problem. we are running SD+ with build 8109 in virtual server with Win2008 R2 Ent. Problems to add assets in a contract
Hello to all, last weekend we have updated SDP to 8207 build. Since this update, we have experience problems to include new assets in the active contracts. Sometimes SDP doesn't allow to find assets and take more than 15 minutes to show "search panel" after click "add" in contract. Sometimes SDP stop suddenly and we need to restart service to work again with application. Deploying 600034-JavaForOSX2013-004
I am having problems delploying this patch to our Mac OS machines. The configurations get "Download failed" errors. I have tried to download the patches but i get a checksum error from Desktop central. I went to Oracle and tried to manually download the patch and rename it and put it in depository folder but it still fails. All my other patches are working fine and there's plenty of space on the server. Our webfilter/firewall are also not affecting this machine. Is there anything else I can try to
Remote control stopped working
I am using latest DC. Updated Java for the millionth time. Now I cant remote control anything and get a ClassNotFoundException and it shows com.adventnet.my computer.viewer.viewer. Anyone have this or any help for me? Not sure what broke, but I am hurtin right now without remote. Also I cant load XML files now when I try Active X viewer.
Mozilla Firefox 22 showing as an OS update
Apologies if this has already been asked: It appears that Mozilla Firefox version 22 is known to Desktop Central patch database, but it's showing up as an OS patch instead of third party. This is happening consistently across our 150 managed clients, and it hasn't ever happened with prior versions of Firefox. Is this a known bug, or is Firefox now considered part of Windows 7/Windows XP by Zoho Corp? Thanks.
MDM
We have run into a problem adding users and devices into the MDM. No matter who we try to add we always get User Name already exists. We connect to our domain, use search to find a user, allocate them to the approprate device and configs and then hit go. It always gives us the same answer "User Name already exists." Help appreciated. Ian
Huge Log FIles - usbconfig_user.log
I am completely new to Desktop Central and have run into an issue. 3 of my workstations have almost run out of space on their hard disks due to an extremely huge logfile (usbconfig_user.log, 118GB, 283GB and 107GB). The rest of the desktops have very small log files. What has caused these three to have such huge logs and how do I delete/fix them?
