No IPSLA MOS score in VOIP monitoring? NFA 9.8
Hi, We recently configured some VOIP monitors in version 9.8 all the jitter and rtt seems to report ok but the MOS score always shows 0.0. Problem with deployment of Java 7u21 x86

Impossible to retrieve API Key from SDP 8.2 - Free edition
Hi all, I installed SDP 8.2 and it works perfectly. I want to improve my knowledge and i'm interested to use the REST API for automating tickets management. I need a technician key but when i try to associate a connection to a technician user a message is raised, indicating that it's not possible. I figure it's because the free edition is limited to one technician. Cisco ASA interface number problem
Hi, we are running Netflow Analyzer 9.8.5 and Cisco ASA 8.4 After the reboot of the ASA, the interface number is changed for some of the interfaces. Its a well known problem of the ASA. The command "snmp-server ifindex persist" doesn't exist @ this device type. Is there a solution, to getting persistent values? At other tools, you can use interface name as index instead of ifindex. regards

I have installed it on Win7 and WinXP. Run the application C: \ ManageEngine \ ServiceDesk \ bin> run.bat and all services up correctly on both OS When I try to open the application in IE http://localhost:8080 not show any information. Bad Data in "resourcemacip" Table
I'm writing a nifty script that obtains data from the Desktop Central MySQL database, and the table "resourcemacip" seems to have the data I want (mapping MAC addresses back to IP addresses). Dashboard chart is blank
Since upgrading to 8.205, the upper left-most chart on our dashboard contains no data. I believe this chart displays trends by Technician, Category, Level, Priority or Mode. Is there a query I can run to reset this? Thanks
PO Attachements not opening/downloading
Users are getting a blank screen (no error messages or HTTP status errors) when trying to open attachments in the PO approval page (the link in the email notification that gets sent after hitting Submit for Approval). same behavior on both Firefox 21.0 and IE 8.
Netflow Analyzer : Alert Profiles
When MODIFYING an existing alert profile, where for example I need to add 1 interface to the existing list of monitored interfaces, NFA requires that I re-enter all the previously monitored interfaces plus the new one(s). If I just select only the new interface to be monitored, it removes all other previously monitored interfaces. This is time consuming, error-prone and very annoying to correct each time. User Domain Password won't reset
Hello, I've added a Windows Domain type resource withe de DNS Name of the domain controller and the domain name. In this resource I added two accounts, both with the priviliges of domain admin and one of them set as Credentials for remote synchronization, but when a click on "Change Password" on one of this accounts (the one that is no the credential for synch) it doesn't update the password in the domain. Task Dependencies Not Working
On a request, if you set task dependencies for tasks, rather than requiring that task 1 be done before task 2 and so forth, notifications go out for all tasks and they can be completed in any order.
PO approval link and View PO link not working
Approvers get an error message saying You cannot Approve this PO, when clicking the approval link in the PO Approval notification. But when they go to their Home Tab under My Approvals, they can find the PO and Take Action without issues and can Approve or Reject via the Actions drop down options in the PO itself. Also, the link that allows you to view the PO after it's been approved or rejected displays a blank page.
Power settings not deploying properly.
I am playing around and testing with the power scheme settings available in Desktop Central. I deployed a scheme that basically has the Shutdown button set to power off the test unit when the button is pressed, as well as when sleep button is pressed. I verified the test laptop's power settings to see if they changed. The correct scheme name was deployed and set active, but everything seems to be set to default - everything is set to "SLEEP" for the button presses. Currently using the newest build:
Unable to retrieve technician API key with the Free edition
Hi all, I installed SDP 8.2 and it's working perfectly ! I would like to improve my knowledge and to test the REST API provided OOTB. I tried to generate an API key but just by trying to associate a technician with a connection an error message is displayed. This message indicates that i can not add another connection as it's a free edition. An existing connection is already existing. That's true, it's the one associated to the administrator account. Hi, I have an issue with my ServiceDesk, I have the following notification rule ticked: Alert(or Notify) technician by e-mail when there is a new reply from the requester. However, I do not receive email notifications when a requester replies to us. I have email notifications set up for new jobs, contract expiry etc.. and they all work ok, just this one rule doesnt seem to work. 8.2.0 Build 8205, However this feature hasn't worked for a long time, through multiple upgrades. VMware Monitoring in OpManager has lot of bug's

Top 10 interface widget take minutes and block the system

Conflicting ManageEngine E-mail IDs (ServiceDesk Plus / SupportCenter)
We've been using ServiceDesk Plus for some time & recently another group has gone live with SupportCenter Plus within the business. When replying / forwarding e-mails the tickets are getting mixed due to the "##<request ID>##" format of the e-mails between systems. Old tickets are being re-opened & replies merged between the two which is not ideal! Is there anyway to change the base template / format for one system to prevent this or any other options?

Custom report crashes and cannot be edited
I have a Custom Report MTL- request By Requester, last month and it crashes when i try to run it. It also produces the same error when I click on Edit so I cannot do anything with it I suspect it is because the name has a comma in it. I am drafting some new service catalog items under a new category but have encountered some problems. I created a new service category and added a service to it. After customizing everything on the form designer, work flow, and requester view I opened a new window to verify that it had been properly added, which it had. I then navigated back into the service item and pressed "Copy Template" thinking that it would create an exact copy in the same service area with a name such as "Original
Infrastructure URL Monitors are Not Clearing build: 10100
This morning, we are seeing several infrastructure monitors which have not cleared, although the snapshot of the URL, shows the current status as clear. I notice this is not happening with URLs located under a device. We actually noticed this a week ago, but put it off to thinking it could be something we had done. But I can see now these are just not clearing when the URL in fact clears. I'll open a case.
Download selected patches
Hello. Yesterday, we tried downloading selected patches, but DC ended up downloading other patches we did not select. Here is what we did: Clicked Latest Patches Filtered by Windows and then individual severity (All but Unrated) Each time we chose a different severity to filter by, ew selected all patches listed and marked as Approved. We then selected all listed patches from the filter set and selected Download Patches. The process started; however, it appears all patches listed under as Latest
Change Recommendation History
Hi, Where can I find the log indicating the Change Recommendations (from CAB member) and Approvals (by Change Managers)? It seem that the History only logs the changes in CAB -group members. The important thing here, would be to record the actual Recommendations and Approvals made. Especially as CAB member seem to be able to change their recommendation any time. Cannot upgrade to any version past 8201
Hello, Recently, I upgraded SDP to version 8201. Now I am unable to upgrade to any later version. I have tried Versons 8203,8205 and 8206. Every time the upgrade fails the only error message that appears on the Java client is "Sorry, Uninstallation is currently not supported" Any ideas how I can resolve this?
Unable to import active directory users with Firefox
Hi There, Recently upgraded our SDP software to 8.2.0 Build 8204, but have since discovered that I'm unable to perform an Active Directory user import when using Firefox (v21.0) as my browser. Capture.PNG is what I'm seeing in Firefox, Capture_IE.PNG is what I can see in Internet Explorer (domain and OU names removed). I did need to flush my cache for some things to display correctly post-upgrade, however refreshing with CTRL+F5 on this page has no effect. I can workaround the issue at the moment
Netflow Bandwidth Usage Incorrect

Notication Rules not working in SDP
Hello, I am trying to test the configuration of our new SDP installation, but some of the notification rules are not working. Only when a request is raised for a requester it works, but it doesn't for when a request is resolved or closed. I have check that the rules are activated but nothing happens. Incoming and outgoing SMTP settings are fine. Attached is system file. If you need thread dump, let know.
