Service Catalog - Items deleted
I am drafting some new service catalog items under a new category but have encountered some problems. I created a new service category and added a service to it. After customizing everything on the form designer, work flow, and requester view I opened a new window to verify that it had been properly added, which it had. I then navigated back into the service item and pressed "Copy Template" thinking that it would create an exact copy in the same service area with a name such as "Original Service (1) " so that I would not have to recreate the same format for each of the services I was drafting. However upon doing this the service item no longer appears in the catalog.
In addition I am now unable to create any new service catalog items (I get the successful save message but navigating to the catalog shows no new items added). I have tried to create a new service category and start from scratch but I run into the same problem.
One example of deletion: After saving a workflow you are forced back to the form designer page, despite making no changes if you attempt to navigate away from that page (to requester view for example) clicking save deletes that template from the service catalog.
I have attempted to isolate what causes this issue and work around it but have been completely unsuccessful. I have had close to a dozen templates deleted now.
In summation:
Modifying service catalog templates subjects them to spontaneous deletion.
Attempting to save a template with the same name as any of the previously deleted templates results in an error that says the template could not be successfully saved (this also may cause spontaneous deletion)
Configuring the work flow can cause spontaneous deletion
