The Client Side Extension (CSE)
I am evaluating Desktop Central but can't figure how to install the CSE. I see no way to push them out or manually install them anywhere. I have defined the SOM but nothing is happening. Thanks Chris

Hi All I have just downloaded and installed this cool looking product and i find that the server side of it keeps restarting itself this could be a problem at my end but i thought i would ask if anyone else is having this problem my config is W2k3 server i have opmanager and service desk plus also running on the same server. SOM configuration problems
Hi, I'm just trying Desktop Central on my Active Directory and I've some problems configuring SOM. First of all, Desktop Central seems to work with only one account "administrator" but with my french server this account is named "administrateur". To avoid this problem I made a copy of "administrateur" account that I named "administrator". Hi I'm trying to use desktop central on a home network. During configuration I'm asked for a domain name - but I don't have one - I have a workgroup name but configuration won't accept it. Is there a way round this? Thanks :?:
Not populating AD Group Policy
Hello, I have downloaded and installed Desktop Central. But it is not working correctly. It will create a GP object, but that object will be empty. Hi Can Desktop Central be used to bulk change the local administrator password for all desktops in a domain - Active Directory? We have this as a big and painful administrative task at the moment. Managing multiple sites with SBS2003 installed

Domain Admin?
Do I really need to be a full domain admin for Desktop Central to work? I'm the admin for a small dept in a big edu switching from NDS to AD. I'm an admin for my dept's OU, but that's it. Will it work? I'm not actually switched yet, but I have a server and a few workstations on ad to play with. When I tried, it didn't accept my admin username as a domain admin. I didn't think until later to put "domain\college\department" for a domain to bring it to my level. Can I use this product? How can I over

Down Machines in DTC
I applied the 9.1.84 update on Monday 11/16/2015 of last week to my DTC server. After the update I have a great number of my machines reporting as down in DTC. Also what is the acceptable time frame for machines to update their software I have a couple dozen that are alive and on the network that have yet to update. I have bounced the machine that DTC is living on in an attempt to force the machines to reestablish connection to DTC. I can ping the machines just fine and when I log onto the machines
MySQL database (5.0) will not start up
The data is held in a single large file named ibdata1, and the file seems to have grown too large. This database is held on a Windows 2003 Server. I need someone to tell me how to extract the data from the large datafile without starting the database OR extend the allowed size for the file on Windows so that I can start db.
