SMTP configuration problem
Hello, Since 5 days when we try to send a mail trough AppMAnager, we have the next error message. "The action message to thierry has failed.MailSettings not configured" But when I use the smtpTest.bat troubleshooting tools we have this answer. Hi I've got AM 9 Build No: 9300 I try to apply some query monitors to a MSSQL DB and I face few problems doing it: 1. Login & password: Why login and password are not stored after a monitor is created? Security thing? Using domain authentication in the form: domainuame, when i try to modify my query, the content of username changes to domainusername ( disappears) 2. Recorded URL Sequence Not Showing Up
I'm evaluating AppManager. I used Recorder to record a sequence for an internal website. It appeared to record fine. When I saved it, it generated no errors, but the new monitor did not show up in the web interface. I've tried it both from the PC that AppManager is running on and from another PC. Is there a log somewhere that I can look at to determine why the monitor is not being created? Thanks.
Problems with monitoring servers
Hi Support Team! I have a question about it. I have 2 solaris servers monitoring them in 2 applications manager. Both applications manager are on linux. Today, the 2 solaris servers was down, and one of applications manager reported the down and the other no. Both applications manager are on the same network and the same VLAN. Monitor AIX/Linux Systems via non-root user
Hello, what is neccessary to monitor an AIX/Linux System with a non root user? Is this possible? I already tried that, but on AIX eg. the memory usage values are missing: "No Data Available. Error trying to access SAP tabs and no performance data
Hi, I've installed the SAP Server monitor successfully in AppManager and have configured it to watch three SAP systems. There are two problems. 1) When I go into the SAP Server monitors to view the tabs Background, Dialog, OS and Spool I get an error that "An Error has occurred" 2) When I try to view performance data in the tabs Buffer and Enqueue there doesn't seem to be any data...everything is 0 in enqueue and there is nothing for Buffer. Downtime scheduler for monitor group
Hi I have assigned a weekly downtime schedule to a monitor group. When I view the Availability Tab for Monitor Groups (Availability History) the downtime period is green (meaning UP), but when I drill down to the specific Monitor Group's Availability Tab the 3 associated monitors show purple (for Maintenance) ! ! IE connection slow down
Hi, After I started Applications Manager the IE connection slows down and after a while AM reports that URLs monitors (ex: www.google.com) are unavailable or their response times are high. And after I stop AM the IE connection comes back to normal. I am using AM v9 build 9300. Any help please

Disable/clear downtime scheduler
I am using the free edition of App Manager, and it has gone past the 30 day trial period. I originally configured some maintenance windows in the Downtime Scheduler, but now I want to remove/disable them. But because the trial period has expired, I am unable to edit the Downtime Schedule - I get the message that "This Feature is not supported in Free Edition". Is it possible to disable/turn off Event Log monitoring after you have enabled it under a particular Windows monitor ? Don't want to delete the monitor and re-create it again. regards dub
