Licence FAILURE, can't install new one
Has anyone else come across a problem such that when the licence has expired, the web interface won't work properly -- so it's not possible to fix the licence failure? I'm getting "Exception in:/jsp/tabcomponent/LicenseUpgrade.jsp" and the logs indicate that the licence status is null, so I suppose then that the software throws unhandled exceptions instead of politely asking the user to register. Did anyone else find a clever way around this problem?
Gina .jsp error
I've tried searching but so far haven't found anything relating to this. when I try to push the GINA out to a new pc the page returns "Exception in:/jsp/configuration/GinaComponents.jsp] null" and if I try to use the button form any computer it was previously installed on I get a blank white page. has anyone else encountered this?

ResetADSSPPassword.bat isn't working
Hey guys, For some reason our adself service admin password isn't what it's meant to be *mutter mutter* and we don't have any idea what it is. So we have to reset it. Looked in the fourms and was suggested i use the ResetADSSPPassword.bat. I have tried running this while the service was running and while it wasn't running with no luck. Also tried it in a elevated command prompt and a normal command prompt. Any Ideas? Says the below: C:\Program Files (x86)\ManageEngine\ADSelfService Plus\bin>resetADSSPPassword.bat

Make "Advanced" configuration window wider
Please make the "Advanced" configuration window with the "Block User" and "Reset / Unlock" options etc much wider. It is too small to easily write the notification messages. Also, this window really feels like a kludge - these options should not be in a catch-all floating window. Show custom messages before identity verification
Hello, I would like to display an information page to users attempting to unlock/reset their password. I'd like to show it after they put in their username but before they're asked for security question/SMS code. This is different than the password policy, which you can already configure. I'd like a page by itself that can be configured with rich HTML to display anything I want. I'd like to include organizational policies and other IT information here that is on it's own page to make it more visible.

Employee Search - Results Aliases
Just started using ADSelfService+ as a trial to allow users to manage their details and search other users (not using the password stuff yet). Looks great so far but have one issue that's fairly important to us. Historically we have stored a user's CostCentre in the HomePhone field in AD (don't ask). For the SelfService feature I can rename that field in the layout manager, however, when we report on this data on the Employee Search screen only the original field name shows. We are also about

Case Sensitive Quick Search on Restrict Users License Management page
The "Admin" tab, "License Management" section, and "Restrict Users" Page, the Quick Search there for Display Name and SAM Account Name is currently case sensitive, this has caused some confusion for helpdesk staff who have been unable to find a restricted user and allow access because they've not entered the search parameters in identical case match. Please can you make searching on either of these fields non-case sensitive, thank you.
Alternate languages in ADSelfService Plus?
Are languages other than English supported by ADSelfService Plus? We are a global company with users in Japan, Korea, China, Germany, France, and others where users are not fluent in English and we are experiencing difficulties in managing password resets. Thanks, C
Unable to Login to Admin Page
When I attempt to login to the admin page which is hidden from the Login Screen, the page tries to load and then goes back to the regular sign-in screen. I am trying to access directly from the server the application is hosted on and the application is running on Port 80 with a SQL backend database. I uploaded a csv file and I need to change the security questions on it...i uploaded a new csv file with the changes and it merged the data from the two csv files together... How can I edit the csv file and delete the questions I dont want? Or how can i delete the csv file?
ADselfservice + without the selfservice bit
Hi we are looking to implement a user verification system on our network in the next few weeks to assist in password resets. Can ADSS be used by the service desk only to verify a user and allow the password to be reset. i.e. we do not wish to allow self service of password resets and or account unlocks but so want the service desk to confirm the user is who they say they are by requesting the 2nd and 5th letters of the predefined word.
SSL invalid w/ wrong dates
I have a cert from godaddy that's installed, but not showing correct dates rendering it as untrusted to end users. Checking the certs in the jre\bin file show correct dates. I've tried running the keytool import again and doublechecking the server.xml. Any suggestions on how to get the cert corrected so it's trusted? Thanks

Gina not working outside of company network
I have been testing Gina to see how it will work when not on our network. I installed Gina on a test laptop and when it asked for server I entered the xxxxxxx.xxxxxx.ca as it is setup for SSL connection and then when is asked for port I entered 9251. Everything worked in the office when on net but when I test it outside the office network. ie at home, the only thing that comes up is a white box. Is this not intended to work when not connected to our office network?

Hi, ADSelfService gets the MAIL attribute from Active Directory and use it as the default email address to work with on the reset, and change password process. Is there a way to use another attribute from Active Directory to get an alternate email address and use it automatically on the reset and change password process without the user to register the alternate email address. SMS Messaging through Clickatell
Hello, I am setting up the SMS messaging and have a few questions I was hoping someone could please answer. I am using V4.5 Build 4591 on Windows 2008 R2 64bit. 1. When I send a test message to a phone number that does not start with a 1 I get "Cannot route message" Is a 1 required? Is there any configuration to detect and add it if its not there? 2. When I have a 1 in the number it says sent successfully but the message never arrives. I am guessing it is because we use a proxy server and firewall
Buggy CSV import
The buggy CSV import function really needs to be addressed. We import students weekly with predefined questions for them to answer in order to reset their password because we do not allow user defined questions. After running an import of lets say 300 new students helpdesk will get about 20-50 calls regarding an error that they "need to re-enroll to use the service". So we have to run the CSV file again but with ONLY that user account to make it work. It seems like anytime we try to do a CSV import

trying to configure SSL for a customer and am having a problem It looks like the customer had generated the csr and keystore files and made the edits to the server.xml as instructed but it looks like the certificate the site is using is the certificate issued to www.adselfserviceplus.com. I dont know if they ran the command line scripts because I dont see anything in the instructions that references DigiCert certificates. I went back in and unchecked the box to Enable SSL port and restarted
