I am setting up the SMS messaging and have a few questions I was hoping someone could please answer. I am using V4.5 Build 4591 on Windows 2008 R2 64bit.

 

1. When I send a test message to a phone number that does not start with a 1 I get "Cannot route message" Is a 1 required? Is there any configuration to detect and add it if its not there?

 

2. When I have a 1 in the number it says sent successfully but the message never arrives. I am guessing it is because we use a proxy server and firewall and maybe the ports are being blocked. Do you know what ports are required for SMS messaging using Clickatell?

 

3. Once a phone receives a text message how long is that code valid for? Is this configurable?
