Import Requesters from Active Directory stopped working
The Import Requester from Active Directory stopped working. At first it was only giving us the User OU and not the rest of the OUs in our AD. I ran the following commands on the database delete from adousrelationinfo; delete from adorganizationalunits; and restarted to try and fix the issue. I am now getting the following error. I have tried multiple logins.
Backup Scheduling doesn't show backups
Hello to all, we have experencied a curious problem with SDP backup scheduling. We can see a finished backup on server but SDP doesn't show it on backup list. Do you know why? Is this backup correctly finished? Thanks in advance
Difficulties customizing translations
Hey guys, The translation of SDP+ in Dutch is very poor. Possibly due to machine translation. I've started optimizing the translations in Dutch, but i encounter some incomplete or non-existing strings in the Dutch language in the Admin --> Translations module, specifically (what i noticed so far). Mail Fetching stopped after problem processing email
Hi Folks, I experienced an issue when service desk plus was processing an email, the email caused the program to turn off mail fetching 1. Is there any way to investigate why the mail would have stopped the mail fetching? 2. Is there any way to set up automatic emails when the system has stopped mailing fetching? ServiceDeskPlus Scheduled Domain scan wont pick up new machines
Hi Guys, We've noticed a recent trend with our new machines we've deployed. Some machines are picked up by the AssetExplorer Agent during our weekly automated Domain Scan, but others fail. The Windows image on these machine are deployed from a base image we use on all machines. Error with licence fresh install of CMDB Plugin
Hi! I installed CMDB plugin and whe i went to the tab in OpManager, it wouldn´t log in to the ServiceDesk instance (the user was empty and a long password appear). So I went to the service desk web (typing the SD port on the opmanager server) with default Administrator/administrator user, I created the same admin user in SD that the OpManager uses adn after that the CMDB Tab worked! When I was on the SD I noticed that the licence of the ServiceDesk was on trial mode, so I put the OpManager licence
the issue of authentication
I have 2 domain, and I am using Active Directory Authentication Earlier when entering the login for authentication is automatically added domain. Now this does not happen and I have to manually select the domain from the list. Tell me how can I fix it? earlier now
Service Catalog Templates disappear after editing them
Hi i raised this issue a few months ago and the solution given to resolve was this below. Firstly as Admin i should not have to keep stop/starting the system every time i edit/tweak a template in the service catalog. As if i edit an existing work request template and save it and then refresh and go into the service catalog the updated template is not there. Only on doing the steps below does it reappear. Login issues with SD+
Having a weird issue with SD+. New instance, fresh install, new server. Users have imported from AD fine. Using AD authentication If I make a user on the SD+, instead of importing it, and log it in to Local, it works fine The Admin account works fine (on local) dB is MSSQL (same as the original instance) No account, be it a requester or technician, will log in with domain credentials, it just says "username or password incorrect" Had to change some requester/technicians from AD authentication to
AD Imports
when importing from AD you have a field called reporting to which you state maps to the manager defined in AD. This field imports correctly and can be viewed in the admin/requester menu-screen. However this field does not populate when looking at the requestor details from within a ticket. Is there a reason for this and how can I create this?
Assets not showing nor technicians / requesters.
Good Morning, I seem to have an issue which seems to have affected other areas. I have made some changes in the Configuration item types where i have added some new CI types. Script - Trigger .bat file from Custom menu
I need some help on how to execute a bat-file from a costum menu. This bat-file is locate in the default location and no errors occurs whenever I click on this new Costum menu link, but the script in this bat file is not executed. Import of Contracts - Date Format Failing
Hi Even though I'm using the correct template and date layout of (dd/mm/yyyy), when importing the template it still fails. The "failed contracts" xls shows the dates as dd/mm/yy which is not what I'm entering in the original file. Is this a general issue or am I doing something wrong? Thanks
Can't type in requesters name - Purchase PO
Under the Purchase PO when we try to edit an existing PO we can no longer search and add someone different as a requester.. 2 things don't happen: 1. No auto fill or suggested requesters pop up 2. Even if we type a name it doesn't stick Here is the section i'm refereeing too. The "Requested by" field.

CMDB Cleanup
We have 3 active ServicedDesk environments on site and one of them has a CMDB that has run away on us. We get a lot of errors from it and there are a lot of entries that need to be removed. One technician made a lot of errors in entering CI’s and deleting/changing CMDB catagories and we were hoping that there may be a script to run that can set the CMDB back to its default appearance, removing any entries and deletions made to the CMDB? Anyone know how to do a "one stop" cleanup on the CMDB?

We just updated to Your Version : 9.0 Build 9044 The only sections we see on the home page are My summary, MY tasks and announcements. Please Help Karen MY APPROVERS ARE NOT SEEING THE NOTIFICATIONS ON THEIR HOME PAGE OF THE REQUESTS THEY NEED TO APPROVED. I REALLY NEED A SOLUTION, PLEASE
Technicians Request view corrupted
After changing 250+ requests using the advanced search feature, a technician's view on the request tab has become corrupted. It's only affected the one technician and I don't want to restore the DB as all the others are unaffected. All requests, Actions, Settings on the header will not function. Please advise - how to reset the individual technicians views (even to a default set of views).
no subcategories listed when creating custom views
When trying to create a new Custom View, our list of Sub-Categories is not listed in the Filter field. We can see our complete list of Categories and Items when creating a filter. Build 9041

Hello. Have some problem with attachemt name like 'filename ..jpg' Two dots before extension. Filename saved to disk in subdir with request id (9988). But if email is to long SD generate html attachment HTML with: <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1251"> but all russian text in UTF-8. Hi all, Im trying to deploy the windows agent for invetory via GPO. I go trough the Howto: Deploying agents through Active Directory but it won't work. Nothing hapens by booting the clients. I'm getting an error when attempting to setup Mail Server Settings for IMAPs. When saving the settings I get FAILURE: E-mail settings saved successfully. Could not find valid certification path to requested target, so kindly configure to apply Trusted/Self Signed Certificate. Any ideas what the issue is. The IMAP server I'm connecting to is Exchange 2010 with a valid SSL certificate purchased from a CA Authority.

Unable to set up email
Hi, We are unable to set up email within SD Plus, not matter what settings we try it fails to connect to Exchange 2010. Here are the steps we've tried: Set up a new user with a mailbox Logged into that mailbox and sent/received email from it Ensured POP3 & IMAP4 are enabled on the mailbox Tried using the DNS name and IP address of the Exchange serverNot matter what we try we are unable to send or receive email through SD Plus and have no idea why. Can anyone help?

Incidents re-opening when they aren't supposed to
Hi all, We do not want incidents to re-open when a new email is received with the same request id. We simply want the ticket to get updated and the technician alerted. This is the option we have set in the SElf Service portal area of the admin page. However, it still happens. If the ticket is resolved and an email is sent to the requestor saying that it is resolved, and they reply, the ticket gets opened again. We don't want this to happen. In fact, we don't want the ticket status to change ever

Hello, In our "Scanned Software Assets" overview all the "excluded" and "freeware" software is listed as "Under Licensed". How can we fix the compliance type for all the software to compliant? These software is scanned with a previous version op Manageengine Servicedesk, now we are running 9.0 Build 9002. If we add new software to ""excluded" and "freeware" the type is set correctly. Cannot enable AD Authentication
I have Service Desk Plus installed on Windows 2012 R2 and when I enable Active Directory authentication, I get an error ( User:administrator trying to enable Active Directory Authentication ) in the Support\System Log. I have reinstalled the application, and I can import users and assets, but the logins for Domain Users is not working. Can you help?
