Description When you configure a domain controller as a DNS name server, the DNS zone data is stored as an Active Directory object and is replicated as part of domain replication. When the contents of the DNS zones are unintentionally modified, it can mess up your entire AD environment. The immediate need is to restore the modified DNS zone to the previous state. Permissions for backup user
I am starting to deploy AD Recovery Manager Plus and it is working great as long as I use a service account that is assigned to the Domain Admin role in each domain. Is it possible to use an account with less permissions such as a backup operator or other role? I cannot find any documentation that specifically states what role the account has to have. I am using ManageEngine RecoveryManager Plus 4.2.0.0 on Windows Server 2012 R2

initial backup never completes
I have a large domain and the initial backup never completes. My smaller dmz domain completes without problems. I've called support many times and they always say they are going to look at it and call me back. I give them my number and email but they never give me a support case# or a name. When I call back I have nothing to give support.
