How to restore from backup - backup created 2 files
Hi I am trying to move my config and data from one server to another. I did a backup of the server but it created 2 files. The restore only lets me point to a single file. How do I restore to the new server? Thanks, Brian

Hi there, we are using the template system to create users. During the User Creation you select Department from the list. In our Organisation each Department has a cost centre code, we put this code in the DepartmentNumber field. How could admanager auto population the Dept Number field, depending on which department is selected from the template for the Department Field.

Issue start adselfservice plus service
Hi, It was working fine untill it ran out of space then after that the management service is not started. I added more space to the virtual machine but still fail to start. I have seen that it's License Corruption issue. Can I solve this issue? Thanks and regards

Is there a limit to the number of AD groups available in the free password notification tool?
i just installed the free tool for password expiry notifications. I want to create a policy based on AD group but i'm not seeing all the groups in our domain. it looks like we're limited to just 2000 available groups to choose from. how can i pick a group that doesn't fall in this first 2000?

Greetings! I've recently updated AD Manager Plus to the latest version with the Notification Profile option. However we don't use the Manager attribute in our Active Directory. Instead I've tried to include email address to which the account information is supposed to sent in the CSV-file linked to the automation task, and take that email address as a parameter to a powershell script. However I haven't succeeded in this task as the email address doesn't seem to import to the automation / user creation

Question about building a package
I was tasked with upgrading computers with a new version of software. What I would like to do is add a feature to my package that will send a notification to the users, asking them to "click OK" to start the installation, as well as give them the option to "postpone" the install a few number of times. Desktop Central service wont start
Hi I have just installed Desktop central 10 on server 2012 r2 and everything was working fine after install. I have now changed the database to sql via the script in the bin folder which completed all ok. I now have the issue where the service just wont start. I keep getting the prompt that the service has stopped. Not sure why this, I have attached all the log files and would be grateful if someone could lend me a hand. Many Thanks Liam

Sync asset name and details in SDP
Hi, I scan a switch in OpManager and edit device details like vendor, Category, RAM, etc in related form. I integrated OpManager with SDP, When I click on Sync Now button my asset imported in SDP, but my custom details like vendor, category,RAM, etc not imported and just add these IP without any details and put in unknown workstation category. What should I do? I want to use OpManager for assets discovery and integration with SDP. What's your solutions? Thanks

Wrong Image Path
Hello there We have several incidents where the images are not shown anymore. The link, for example, points to http://host.mydomain.com/inline/WorkOrder/8020/1491920397092.png but there is no folder 8020 at this position on the server. BUT I can find the image 1491920397092.png. It's located in another folder 3926. That's really strange... maybe I have to change the URL in the database itself? Thx for your help

When sending out notifications for a new event, the event link in the notification email is not working. The link that is sends is http:// where it should be https:// In the admin settings of the application it lists the alias url as https:// Any ideas why the links would not be going out correctly? Workflow on Service Requests
Hi Hopefully someone can advise on this scenario. I have created a service request for a manager to request equipment for a user (say a cell phone or laptop). I've added an initial approval for this so the ICT manager can approve this before it gets assigned to the technician to setup. We also require a 2nd stage whereby the user can confirm they have received this equipment, has anyone implemented this kind of thing before, the workflow doesn't seem to allow for this? Many thanks
Auto selecting a wrong groupname when creating an incident
Hi, Our company has multiple sites. There is a group consisting of 4 people, who are technicians for all those sites. The recenty changed their name of their group. When i create a request, and select the correct site, i can select one of the 4 mentioned technicians. However, when i create an incident, and I select their grou, it keeps switching back to the old name group. I cannot find and relation between creating an incident and the group being the old group name. anyone got any idea?

I have a ServiceDesk setup that includes two different domains. What's the easiest way to make it so that users of DomainA are requestors of SiteA inside ServiceDesk and users of DomainB are requestors of SiteB in ServiceDesk? Is there a way to simply set site to "DomainA" during the import considering there is no AD attribute containing "DomainA" that I can map the field too? Thanks in advance.
