Attempted AppSMS setup, serial modem now not working
Windows 2008 R2, OpManager 12300 with SQL Database I tried adding an Android phone using AppSMS and couldn't get the phone to be recognised by OpManager as connected (Motorola Moto G4) Anyway, since removing it, the Nokia phone which is currently connected as a serial modem no longer works either. The Nokia is showing as connected. I am able to setup a new notificaton profile using the Modem based SMS and the system thinks the SMS has been sent(test Action is Successful message is displayed) but
[Solved] - Sort data from largest to smallest
I'm trying to sort a ticket field from the largest to smallest (ticket samples: 1111, 1211, 1321, 2232). When I select ascending or descending the report shows sorts by the first digit(s) and not by the largest number: 1111 1211 1321 2232 I want to sort from largest to smallest: 2232, 1321, 1211, 1111 I've tried sorting by created date to achieve this but the same sorting behaviour occurs for the date field.

Mail server settings issue
Hello all, I am having an issue with getting my mail server settings to work correctly. The odd thing is they were working from about 12 hours then suddenly stopped. I am getting the error below. FAILURE :Email Settings saved successfully. But error occurred while trying to check connection with mail server - Authentication Failed:[Logon failure: unknown user name or bad password.] the username for the account is correct as is the password as I am able to log in to the mailbox without issue. I'm trying to create a new user template with a condition that if there is a user with the existing name format to create, say, jdoe1 or j.doe instead of failing on trying to create jdoe again. Change PMP user domain?
Hi, I have a PMP setup using AD authentication. I have my existing users in domain A with PMP personal spaces and I want to migrate them to use AD accounts from domain B. Is there a way to do this whilst reatining user access to their personal spaces? The domain names will be different but the usernames will be the same.
Encrypted HTML Export password issue
After some testing, I've discovered that if you use the "Encrypted HTML" export feature in PMP v.9.1, and put hyphens in the passphrase, you will not be able to use the passphrase to open the encrypted file. When I replaced the hyphens in the passphrase with periods, I had no issue opening the file. Best, - Steve

I'm in the process of reviewing the custom Technician Roles we have created, and identifying any that are no longer required. When I view a custom role, I get a breakdown of what they can and cannot do in each module, as well as any advanced permissions: . I suspect that many of the roles we have created, are already covered by some of the System Default roles (SDAdmin, SDChange Manager etc). However, I am unable to verify this as there is not currently a function to view the permissions of the defaults

Is there a way to display the current date in the dashboard or in a report? Can you use the add text function to add dynamic text? I want to show the date a dashboard or report is printed of exported as a PDF. Many of my reports show "Last Month" data. If I save them and review at a later date it is not always easy to determine what data I am looking at on the report.

Tasks - percentage completed tied to status
Is there an option or a feature on the road map that can tie a Tasks % completed to the Task status. There is no connection between “% complete” and “Status”. If a task is 100% complete it shouldn’t still be “Open”. If a task is “Resolved” it shouldn’t be 0% complete. This fields should be in sync, otherwise we have to manually edit two fields to produce the same outcome.

Comma in attachment file name
Whenever users attach a file that has a comma on the file name, the request gets created but the attachment is missing. The history tab also displays "No records found..." Is there a fix for this bug?
