System Manager > Command Prompt typeface on Macs
I'm using a Mac with the latest version of Chrome, and when I use System Manager > Command prompt to get to the command prompt of a Windows endpoint, the font it uses is a non-monospaced serif font. Chrome on Windows displays using a monospaced sans-serif font which is much easier to read, and output lines up much better. It'd be really nice if this font could be used on Macs as well :) Many thanks, TK

Checking the forums i've come across a number of posts relating to SDP not picking up Lexmark printer serial numbers, does anyone have a solution other than raising a ticket? Protecting ManageEngine, ServiceDesk Plus site with certification authentication or second factor authentication
We run ServiceDesk Plus on our local network, but would love to access it from the outside without the need for VPN. Because there's some moderately sensitive information in the tool, I want to protect it with more than just usernames and passwords. Has anyone had an experience with locking it down further? I see two options: 1. Requiring a client SSL certificate to be installed; this would lock it down to specific machines with that SSL certificate. 2. Using some sort of two factor authentication.

When creating an incident can you have a specific asset added automatically, triggered by the category or in a template or created from a business rule?

Due By Date Update using REST API
I have successfully created EDIT requests with the API that change fields like description, requester, status etc. however, I want to update a tickets Due by Date as well. I have it working perfectly on the test SDPlus that we have set up but when I attempt to update on prod, the ticket says it was updated but the date does not change. APM - Oracle Monitor - Database Status - Database Size
Hi, I want to know if it is posibble to change the query used to obtain the metric of Database Size on the Database Status. I found on the oracle.xml the next query: SELECT sum(bytes) total_bytes FROM dba_data_files But the DBA said that is necessary include the temp files in this value. What's the difference between deployment policy timing and automated task timing?
I don't fully understand the difference between an automated task and the deployment policy as for what the timings means in both. One can specify days and hours when the task or policy should trigger its activity. Let's say I want to schedule updates on Monday and Tuesday (Patch Tuesday occurred and next Monday these updates will be installed after having been approved) between 12h30 and 15h30, trigger a notification when they are going to be installed on the user's device and ask them for a reboot

Automated Reminder Notification
Hi All, I'm looking for a way within SDP on-demand to create a follow up/reminder email for both the requester and the technicians. Essentially, if the service desk replies to a ticket, and there is no response within 24 hours by the requester, it sends a reminder email that there is an update. Same idea for the technician, reminders to review updates or inactive tickets. Everything I've seen online so far seems to revolve around the on-premise with custom sql or python coding required. Service Catalog - Set task start date based on input from a date field
Can we set the a task scheduled start time dynamic based on a field's date value? This is applicable to Employee Off-boarding - HR has to fill out the off-boarding template with the employee's last day or effective date of separation then a task is automatically generated by the template - this task has an estimated effort (OLA) of 24 hours. This task should start 24 hours after the date entry on the effective date of separate field.

Hi all, just setting up a new user SR templated and have a couple questions; 1. is there any way to customize approval notifications based on the approver as setup in the workflow for the service catalog template. e.g. workflow approval; %reporting_to% %bu_manager% (dept role) %po_raiser% (dept role) I want to sent %po_raiser% a different approval email to the one setup in the global notification settings. 2. Is there any way to allow an approver to attach documents when approving the request.
Asset management
We are having a number of issues with the inflexibility of the asset management in SDP on-demand, primely with Virtual servers and workstations. We have Desktop central integration and so the asset database is populated via Desktop Central. We have a large number of Virtual computers, which are a mixture of Workstation and servers. Some of the them have server roles even though they use desktop operating systems. We use part of the computer name to identify the virtual computer as a server or workstation.

Needing to get back built in technician accounts
One of our other IT techs accidentally deleted a few of the built in technician accounts from ADManager Plus and I was just seeing if there is a way to get those back or just create other accounts that just are local to the application. The one in particular we need is the built in HR Associate account as we have a few HR reps that will need to create users. Thanks!

All, I was looking for a way to notify a specific email address when any new request is opened under a specific account. Is there a way to do this now? Service Desk PLus - Service Request History Tab viewable to all - Not just Technicians,
I would like to see the History tab in Service Desk Plus be viewable to Requestors as well as Technicians. Right now only the technician can view the history tab. Requestors cannot see this and therefore cannot get what steps were taken to resolve or complete a Service Request other than it was completed or closed by the technician assigned to it. Thanks!

Adding multiple installation commands for msiexec
I am trying to create an installation package for Cisco AnyConnect. There are several modules I need to install that are contained in individual MSI files. How do I enter multiple commands for msiexec to install all required modules? I tried putting in each command in the "Installation Command with Switches/Arguments" field with just a carriage return between each command, but ManageEngine threw an error when I hit "Save Package". Here is an example of the commands I am trying to run: msiexec /package
Single Sign On still prompts for username/password
I have SSO enabled on ServiceDesk Plus. I created the AD computer account and set the password. When you navigate to the URL of the work order system, it no longer goes to the webpage that asks for the username and password but instead it pops up a dialog requesting the username and password of the user. I would like for the work order system to detect the logged in user and automatically log the user into the work order system. Any help would be appreciated.
