How maintain unique assets via asset management
Hello We are currently considering ServiceDesk Plus EMS in the cloud. I have been reviewing the asset management module and would like to know if it's possible to select different fields as the Primary Key? We want to ensure we do not have duplicate asset entries eg the same mobile phone serial number entered more than once. Initially we plan to import an asset list via a csv file and manually enter assets as we purchase them. We use the serial number and asset number of each asset to ensure uniqueness

I'm curious as to how often the BIOS versions are updated in the patch management database? Why the big difference in time stamps
I've finally gotten around to digging into some reports. I am seeing major discrepancies in time stamps. A computer can be listed as Last Checked in in June of this year yet will state the Agent Upgraded yesterday. What are the differences between Last Contact, Last Boot and Agent Upgraded? One would think that if the agent was upgraded, it had to have some sort of contact with the server to realize it needed to e upgraded, thus the other time stamps would update and reflect. It seems that we cannot view all changes when trying to associate a change to a project from the project module. Under Associations > Associate Existing Changes, when we change the filter to "All Changes" it just shows the Open Changes and doesn't update the list. This behavior exists both in Chrome and IE. I am generally looking to purge older archived requests.. the typical "seven years" scenario where I don't need or care to see requests past that time frame. Much of our ticketing process involves attachments on the emails as originally submitted, as well as later-attached files onto tickets as they close. Will running these scripts in pgsql also remove all the related data?

pgsql_old folder taking up space
Good morning, We have a folder under ManageEngine>ADAudit Plus>Patch>ManageEngine_ADAudit_Plus-5.1.0-SP-2.0.0 called pgsql_old. It is taking up a very large amount of space. I suspect this can be deleted, as it seems to be an old instance of pgsql, hence the name. Can this be deleted to clear up space?

I was wondering how many other ServiceDesk customers were making use of the Live Chat functionality, and what their takes on it are. Do you believe that it has helped to provide better service to your customers? Have you run into any issues or concerns with it? Also, looking at integrating the Live Chat within another site, it seemed to work mostly the way that I expected it to with one exception - the user had to already be logged into ServiceDesk in order for the Live Chat embed to function.
