NetFlow Analyzer vs Packeteer reporting discrepancies
Hi, I have just found this wonderful product the gives me the granular (source-destination) reporting that my Packeteer is poor on (without spending more money on thier reporting tool than the box itself). The Packteer box is configured to send netflow-5 data to the NetFlow Analyzer server. However I have noticed that over the same reporting period (e.g. 7am to 8am - report run at 9:30am the same day) there is a discrepancy in the number of MB for both in and out traffic between the Packeteer and
Global "Search" in the product
It doesn't appear the SEARCH function is searching everything. For example, I had an item that had a PORT address in it. For Example 192.168.10.21:1234 When I searched for :1234 I received nothing back in the search. I'm I incorrect in thinking it should find ANY TEXT in the log??
Monitor CISCO device CPU more than 5 minutes
Hi everybody, I try to monitor an Cisco 3550 switch with opUtils, the problem is that the "cisco tools /device monitor " only allow me to see a few time utilisation of the CPU device. I want to monitor it and to see the graph on an 24 hour monitoring, what can I do ?? Thanks
December reports are missing
Hi all, I install upgrade pack to 5001, after that I can't make reports from December, every report I've tried do pick up from this month comes (-), but from January the registers are OK. I'm using the embended database, how I could connect to this db from any db-tool? Maybe this way I can see the December registers. thanks sds Luvizon

URL monitor which requires username and password
Hi, I'm trying to monitor a URL which requires a username and password for authentication. Every time I click the "Check now" buttom it says the URL is down..I am putting a username and password in the verify boxes that has access to the URL. It isnt down I can verify that. Thanks Phil

Hi, I'm currently evaluating your product. I'm having some trouble making it work with all the server i've tested. I tested it on 4 server right now: 2 DC (win2k) 2 member (win2k) DC 1 : problem connecting to server (orange circle with white square) DC 2 : problem connecting to server (orange status) but read some log data (application one) member 1 : no problems member 2 : no data, no message, icon "green" I've use the same accounts for all those machine (diff�rent administrators account) Login
Alert Profile
On the "Select Host/Group" we need the ability to have ANY as a vaild option Since we have several group and what to report on the EVENT regardless of the GROUP its in we need the ability to select ANY host/group. Current we created 9 different ALERTS for the SAME item because we have 9 different groups. This is crazy. PLEASE add ANY or allow us to SELECT multiable GROUPS. Thanks

Disable category domain controllers
In opmanager 6 is a new category named Domain controllers. When i add a domain controller - he was standard in this category - ok fine. But when i change the category to server (because i don't see any information in cause of the not licensed addin) every few minutes he changed back to domain controller!!! HI, I am trying to port the URL's which I have been using to monitor the heath of my application from my existing monitor system(cgi based legacy system) to Application Manager, and having trouble with a few of the URL's. The issue seems to be with cookie-retention. I have setup a Netflow anlayzer to monitor my router. My router consists of two interfaces E0 & E1. The Netflow analyzer machine is placed at the E1 segment. I have enabled netflow on both interface. I find that there are no outbound traffic on E1 interface in Netflow analyzer traffic report. Is it correct? How to fix it?
Reporting Does Not Match
Hello, I am testing the software and I noticed that everytime I run a report for different time periods, the data does not seem to match. For example, if I run a Utilization report from "2006-01-03 05:00" to "2006-01-03 06:00", it returns the data including the Max percentage. Let's say the Max percentage is 75%. I then run a report from "2006-01-03 00:00" to ""2006-01-03 06:00" which covers the same time period as the original report. The Max percentage comes back as 50%. I am wondering why the

Reporting Issue
The reporting module in service desk 5 is useless and I suggest a immediate fix for both myself and other frustrated customers. I am unable to run a report for a simple month end, 1st December - 31st December 2005, but this is too much for SD5, it refreshes but still only shows January. Selecting the report to "show all" and all the requests show but selecting a date range is not working. Has something changed in 5.0 regarding email? Every email that is sent contains a "Part.000" and a "Mime.822" attachment but no usual message body like I used to get under 4112. All messages processed by ServiceDesk come through this way now.
Customise Predefined Alert Profile
I wish to edit the Predefined Alert Profiles: I can't add an Alert an a specified Event ID using a Custom Alert Profile, it would be nice if I could add my own. Is it possible to tweak this by editing the Predefined Alert Profiles? I also noticed that it is not possible to change an Alert once it has been added, this is not very practical.

Javascript enabled link/button does not execute
I have installed AdventNet ServiceDesk Plus 5. I can start the web application and click on every link and button without any problems. Dear Team I have implemented NFA on the cabletron routers. It flashed the following error. Monitor Non-standard Bittorrent Traffic
My Cisco router 1841 will detect Bittorrent traffic correctly using NBAR whether or not it uses the standard 6881-6889 port. However, when viewing the application report in Netflow Analyzer 4, pretty much all bittorrent traffic goes under the TCP_App category, very few actually went to the bittorrent category. Is there anything I can do or configure so that it will capture non-standard bittorrent traffic to the right category?
"Last Month" Reports do not work
I need a fix/resolution to the problem of reports that reference "Last Months" data not working in SD5 - ASAP, as I have my monthly helpdesk statistics / report to produce for management this weekend!!!?
