Event 1053
I have a global catalog server which, a few days after making it an Opmanager client, started getting Event 1053 Source Userenv errors in the Application log.
After trying a few things and realizing that nothing on it had changed other than making it an Opmanager client, I deleted it from Opmanager. The errors stopped.
I then readded it to Opmanager to see what would happen. Now Opmanager doesn't see it as being SNMP enabled (no star). Also in the device alarms I repeatedly get AuthenticationFailure : null.
I have confirmed that the server SNMP settings are correct and have restarted the service.
The OS is W2K3 server, no SP1. All of my other servers are the same OS and all have the same patches installed. That server's only role is GCS. I have several others and none are experiecing the same issue.
Any ideas?
