Build 5004 problem
We upgraded to version 5004 last night and are experiencing the following problem: New requests are emailed to helpdesk@domain.com and show up correctly in ServiceDesk. When I open the request and click REPLY, the cc in the reply email is helpdeskdomain.com@domain.com instead of helpdesk@domain.com. (see attachment) Please explain how I can resolve this issue as soon as possible since it is causing production problems. By the way - nice job on the HTML support within the work orders!
Build 5004 - very slow
We upgraded to 5004 last night and are experiencing very slow response times. The refresh is hanging up and IE is giving script errors. I've attached a screen shot of the error.

Hi There, We are using SD+ with 2 Technicians and AD enabled. I would like to link SD+ with OpManager, but I have deleted the default Administrator account, so OpManager reports it cannot connect. I have tried entering my domain user details, but with no joy. Is there any way I can add the user back in as I SD+ reports that I cannot add another user due to the Licence. Stop domainscan and CPU
Is it possible to stop a domain scan in progress? It looks like the scan is not responing anymore. Stopping and starting the service does not seem to do the trick. Also a server reboot did not help us out. a second problem, and i think this is a result of the 'hanging' domain scan: mssqld-nt.exe hangs up the CPU, together with java.exe it takes 100% CPU. Email Polling - Turn off Auto-Delete
Just wondering, is there anyway we can stop SDP from automatically deleting emails once it has downloaded them? Ideally we'd like to keep a complete archive of all emails that come in, without having to pass out a "new" email address to our users.
Showing link between switch port and device
When a end user device is powered down, OpManager generates an alert showing the port on a managed switch as down, but does not report the end device. Is there any way of show both? Is there a way of connecting the two togetter?

Network Interfaces greyed (Linux Server)

Event log rules
Hi, We are currently testing the event log functions, but apparently they are not working, i tested it by stopping the automatic update service in windows, and configured the corresponding event log rule in OpManager, event id, source etc. I have also included a notification rule which triggers an email action. I started and stopped the Automatic Update service a few times now, but no email alarm from OpManager. Any idea's?
Antivirus Monitoring
Hi, I'm having some problem finding a solution how to keep track of the pattern version of my servers using Opmanager. I'm using Symantec Antivirus Corp. edt. and have configured the AMS service to send SNMP traps to the probe. but all I can do with the Trap Prossesor is set an status for the event (Warning, failed, clear, etc.) The function I want's are like a tag/String that the snmp trap can update. So I can easily se the time of the last "Update pattern" Trap i received from the AMS service for

File attachment to customer account?
Nice product. We typically keep an 'information' file (just a text file) for each of our clients, which includes configuration information, passwords, etc. I tried cutting and pasting this file into the 'description' field for the customer account, but there's not much space to hold much info there. Any chance you might either a) add another (large) text field for this type of information to the customer account record, or b) allow file attachments to the customer account record for this type of

After I finish the installation, access the site from another system to https://deviceexpert:6060/, and login to the admin account, everything is ok up to this point. When I try to either discover or add device, it just couldn'd find anything neither cisco 2950, foundry FastIron.. I don't think there's any problem with my device since they are all working from other snmp management software. Any clue to resolve the problem so I can move forward?

I am in a Health Care environment and need to keep logs for HIPAA compliance. Can anyone recommend any Best Practices for use of EventLogAnalyzer to perform this? I have about 90 servers in my environment, and need to consolidate logs for all of them and make it easy to access archived logs for review. Here are my main questions: 1) Should I use archiving, database backup, or both? 2) What is the best way to facilitate backing up to tape and how easy is it to restore and bring into the database later?

Device Group or Ip Group ?
Hi, I've got for my internet access to lines on two different routers. These two routers export netflow to your product. I would like to bundle these two internet lines. --> if i use Device group, i cannot select specific interfaces --> if I use Ip group, i'm able to slect specific interfaces but i need to define an ip range or a port range.... but for the internet, it's not really suitable. 0.0.0.0 mask 0.0.0.0 will work ? Hi there! I just liked the Business Rules options in ServiceDesk+ but we need customer support so we installed SC+ right now (Version 5006). But what we are missing is following: In ServiceDesk+ I could set a business rule for incoming request with priority high should be handled in about 2 hours for example. Hello, I am currently using the trial version of Firewall Analyzer with a Netscreen 25 firewall. Does FWA have the feature to specifty a DNS server to resolve the FQDN or DNS host name of internal and external IP addresses? Hello, I have Opmanager 6.0 with the latest hotfixes and the standard rerports are showing "No Data" I can run custom reports and all is fine, all my devices have blue stars on them.
