CPU, Memory, and Disk Utilization

I keep on seeing support repond with...
"If you have any discrepancies in SNMP based responses, try to configure WMI/TELNET/SSH based resource monitors."
Which leads me to believe that SNMP monitoring of CPU, Memory, and Disk is completely broken in OpManager.
Since some of us can't use telnet or SSH version 1 to monitor our servers, this means the product will not monitor CPU, memory, or disk utilization.
As this is a major shortcoming of the product, it should either be fixed, or made a little clearer on the product page that WMI/TELNET/SSHv1 must be used to monitor these standard values.
Am I misunderstanding something? Can OpManager in fact correctly monitor CPU, memory, and disk utilization?
